We recently covered the topic of a Christian’s duty to obey government in our documentary “Should Christian’s Submit to Government?“, covering the history, interpretations and application of such scripture as Roman’s 13.
Another large group of Christians, Latter-day Saints (aka Mormons), often interoperate their 12th Article of Faith to mean that they must do whatever the government tells them. Is that accurate? Is that how the author of that Article of Faith and his immediate successors applied it? What are the implications?
