Why I joined Tree of Liberty. They had a program that I went to. I was impressed with the organization. I always wanted to try to improve and do the best I could with my life. Always been taught from a young age the principles of the gospel and always wanted to do everything I could to try to improve. So when this organization I heard about it, found out about the one video they had on YouTube of the conspiracy here in Utah, watched, listened to that, was fairly impressed with what was given there. Looked into it more until I finally decided to join for the principles of freedom to try to learn and understand the Constitution better. As we know in the schools today there's very little taught as far as the Constitution. There was an article in, I believe it was the Young Men's Improvement Association, about studying the Constitution and so that became important to me. So that's one of the main reasons I joined and after joining I've gained more of an understanding of things of freedom. But it goes to me deeper than that as we prepare and to qualify ourselves to make ourselves ready for the building up of the kingdom of God. To be those of freedom loving people, have principles of righteousness in them. That would be freedom loving people. To prepare to educate people and help them become what they need to in order to accomplish this work. So it is my desire to continue with this and especially listening to the last video that was on Monday night's training. It brought a lot of this more to my mind as well as the point someone brought out of that he thought that it would bring about bloodshed. And I believe that the Lord would have a way, as was given in the Doctrine and Covenants, that the wicked would slay the wicked. That it was not going to be by a military force in destroying or overcoming the powers of this world. It would be the different governments of this world destroying each other and those that would be preserved would be lovers of freedom. So it is our purpose and intent to prepare people to teach, to educate, to instruct people that all have a love for freedom would be prepared and qualified for this work. This is my understanding of the principles by which the Tree of Liberty is founded and continues on its course.

So that is my purpose and reason in it.
