When you didn't think things could get even more bizarre and just the very definition of clown world, there's now a push regarding making Salt Lake a person. Today on the Tree of Liberty Society program. Make sure you don't miss another program that you are going to the Tree of Liberty Society dot com and that you are subscribing to our email alerts and our text alert system because as we all know, these videos are often removed from YouTube or from other video platforms, but they will always be at the Tree of Liberty Society dot com. Go over there and become a member today. Support the efforts that we're doing. Let's get right into this.

This is an article that was published in several different outlets talking about a bill that was introduced in the state legislature about making the Great Salt Lake a person. This bill, you know, it's probably one of those more of a show bills, but you had people showing up to committee because the bill itself says that, and we'll get into specifics, which is hilarious as well. There are people there that said, no, no, no, we can't pass a bill making the Great Salt Lake a person. So to half a dozen people shut up to testify against the bill banning being the lake being a person. The committee ended up being advancing the bill with Brian King, a Democrat opposed to the stopping the Salt Lake from being a human.

So Brian King wants to designate the Great Salt Lake as a human. A representative of Save Our Great Salt Lake said that he represented more than 1200 Utahns who rallied at the state capitol to urge lawmakers to take bolder steps like making the Great Salt Lake a human. At the center of our, as a center of our ecosystem, the Great Salt Lake has a right to live, flourish and replenish, thrives, and then does so when adding that nature thrives, then so does everyone. The clock is ticking here in Utah. We all know we're, we're on a precipice. Citizens are counting on you as leaders to make these very difficult decisions that would give water to this, to the lake this season, because we cannot live here without it.

Seymour questioned why lawmakers would want to take a possible solution off the table. But why, why do you want to take making Salt Lake a human off the table? You guys are just some existential crisis that we just can't deal with. And he says here, John Meyer, who was filming the hearing as part of a documentary and Seymour's efforts on behalf of the Great Salt Lake, right? You're acting on behalf of this inanimate object, demanding that it be made, classified as a human. And of course we have here the, the Utah State University said that 60% of the residents found that support using the rights of nature to help protect it. But you have to do by making it a human.

She asked in the essay, why not grant person of hood rights to the Great Salt Lake? Describing such a move as the new frontier of granting legal status to a living world. Williams said a designation of personhood is not radical, but a rational response increasingly to an increasingly wounded earth. Only an insane person would say that's not a radical response to designate an inanimate object as a human. It's madness, it's craziness. And the fact that this is, there were actually, there was a case in New York they talked about that an elephant, they were trying to make an elephant and designate an elephant, a person so to have human rights.

And then in South America, it looked like that this worked, that they actually designated a river in South America as a human to be able to protect its rights. So if the Great Salt Lake in whatever inanimate object is designated as a human, if you were to ride a boat on it, if you were to take water out of it, it would be considered assault on a human. You could even have a hate crime. Hey Stan. Hey there Trixie. What you singing about? Oh, not much.

Just skyscraper stuff, like racism. Don't be racist. We both are buildings. Listen to what we mean. Against the Great Salt Lake, because anything that you do against it or, you know, against it, I'm using those terms. It's so crazy. If you would do anything that you do on the Salt Lake, you have to have its, you know, its permission. You have to have its consent before you take its water out or you use any of its salt or you, or because of course, because it's not an atom, you know, it's, it is not a human.

It has to have a guardian. And so the guardian is going to then, if you don't, if you do anything that this guardian, this human that of course these communists would designate as its guardian, if you don't get this guardian's permission to get the salt out of it or to ride a boat on it or go fishing in it or whatever you're going to do with it, then you are committing an assault, possibly a hate crime against the Great Salt Lake. So let's go to the legislation on the things that it's actually saying that were, that they have to protect. It's just so bizarre. So we go to this bill, HB 249 and they, they're defining, right?

What is a government entity? And then defining terms. You have a human being, it means a member of the species classified as almost apians. What land is legal personhood restricted, notwithstanding any other provision, uh, a government entity may not grant legal personhood to nor recognize legal personhood in artificial intelligence in an adamant object, a body of water, land, real property, atmospheric gases. How in the world would you designate atmospheric gases as a personhood? Somebody passes gas and all of a sudden it's going to be protected. Um, and an astronomical object, whether it can't be considered a person, a plant, a non-human animal or any other member of a taxonomic domain that is not a human being.

So if it's not a human, it can't be designated as a human. Welcome to 2024 when the obvious needs to be legislated supposedly. And you know, of course the legislature makes them sound, sound like heroes by passing such absurdities and treating this as, as, as a serious thing. Whereas instead of just putting people in a mental institution because they're clearly crazy, anybody that's trying to make atmospheric gases, the great salt lake rocks, land, anything, not a human, a human is either mentally ill or is trying to bring about a tyranny. And so the, that, that those are the only options. So the obvious, you know, if, if they're not serious, then their only goal in making it an adamant object, a human is to increase the power of government and to impose tyranny on the people.

It's insanity that we're at this point and that anybody in a serious elected position would actually stand opposed to this. And so there are people in the state of Utah, of course, they're going to make this about Republicans versus Democrats, but there are people in the state of Utah, and this isn't about Republican versus Democrat. You have a, you have the, the godfather, Don Ibsen is a part of this, but you have in the house, in the committee, you had the one no vote, Brian King that said that he wanted to designate an adamant objects as a human. And the actual full body of the floor, you have these individuals that said, no, no, no, we've got to be able to leave.

This needs to be on the table. We have to leave on the table, the idea that in adamant objects can be people. And then we have here these individuals in the Senate. These guys, of course, refused to even vote on the matter, but these guys openly came out and said, yeah, we got to have this on the table. We got to have this as an option of designing atmospheric gases or designating atmospheric gases as a human being. This is where we're at. It's insanity needs to stop, needs to be treated, stop being treated as illegitimate.
