We have to understand where we are before we can take the necessary steps to move forward.

So: three things the conspiracy fears the most. This is why they attack these three things so heavily. When you try to do these three things, you really get just the brunt of the conspiracy’s wrath—which can be devastating, scary sometimes, and can feel overwhelming. But it’s important for us to work hard and understand what the conspiracy will do, so that way we’re prepared and we’re not deterred.

These things will be refreshers—we’re going to go into them deeper—but these are the three things we must do and that the conspiracy fears.

This is the culture of liberty.

This is what the Founding Fathers did. This is what every society that has liberty has done. And when they get rid of these three things, that is when they are completely under the control of the conspiracy and need to work back at getting these things done.

So:

We need to be economically independent. That’s why the people of Utah were attacked for that.
We need to not submit to unconstitutional government.
We need to have political independence and educational independence.

These are key things to being able to get out of control of the conspiracy.

And as we’ve gone through them—as you’ve probably seen in my presentation before—as we go through these things, it becomes obvious. It’s like, “Okay, that’s why we’re in the situation that we’re in.” And we just think, “Okay, well, we just move forward and we get the right guy”—all the different traditional solutions that we’ve talked about, and why they don’t work.

Then we think that that’s just what we have to do to do it. But no—this is really a groundbreaking thought process and a paradigm shift that we not only have to make regarding what the solutions are, but really what we have to be doing, and why these are so important.

We need to have that economic independence because—like we talked about a few weeks ago with the training on the importance of ownership versus being an employee—if you are dependent, economically speaking, on someone else, then you are going to submit to them to make sure that you continue to be provided for. That you receive the things that you need to be able to sustain your life.

And so that’s just not… So economic independence is a part of that, not just for your maintenance with your job—with what you do to maintain your income—but more broadly than that.

So this is an important thing. It’s why the Saints in Utah were attacked so much, and why when any other culture does these same things, they are attacked as well.

Brigham Young said that the Lord says that we shall never do another day’s work, nor spend another dollar to build up a Gentile city or nation.

So our resources—the goal needs to be—where our resources are only going toward those that are building the cause of liberty. That are fighting for the cause of Christ.

Because, just like we saw during the fake pandemic, if we’re dependent on a business—if we said we could only have the things sold at Harmons—then we were going to have to, to be able to provide for ourselves or to be able to get the things that we said we needed, we were going to have to do the things that Harmons said. Whether it was wear a mask or other things—get a vaccine.

And so we need to be using our resources to not build up companies that are working with the conspiracy—that are part of the conspiracy. We need to be supporting those… All of our money needs to eventually go to companies or individuals that are building liberty, not destroying it.

He says here: “They want the Mormons to build cities for them to possess.”

We see this now with Agenda 21, especially here in the West, in Utah specifically. Not only do we have the culture of liberty, but we have the infrastructure: the grid system, the wide streets, and each housing/property square was self-sufficient—where the individual had enough land to provide for themselves. It wasn’t something that would make people dependent on an outside force to be able to provide for their own needs.

So when we understand this concept of building cities—liberty-type cities—we are building cities that will not lend themselves to the conspiracy’s control.

On another occasion, Brigham Young said:

“We do not intend to have any trade or commerce with the Gentile world. For so long as we buy of them, we are in a degree dependent upon them. The Kingdom of God cannot rise independent of the Gentile nations until we produce, manufacture, and make every article of use, convenience, or necessity amongst our own people. So we shall need no commerce with the nations. I am determined to cut every thread of this kind and live free and independent, untrammeled by any of their detestable customs and practices.”

Now, as we become dependent—we see the different things we’re dependent on. Every aspect. We’re not just talking about government. Even morality is an important part of liberty.

And so we see, as we are dependent upon manufacturers that are part of this globalist system—who are designing clothes intended to decrease the morality of the people—and that’s the only place we can go to for our clothing, then we start to say, “Well, we’re dependent on that, so now we have to adjust our own standards,” because we don’t know how to either do it ourselves or we don’t have a network set up with others who do know how to do those things.

So we’re dependent on them—not only for our food—but for our clothes. And then our own standards will be changed because of that.

We see that through the years. We’re not just saying styles are changing, but the ability to maintain purity and chastity—that can change with styles. You can still maintain purity and chastity with different designs, but we can see now that if you’re getting your clothes from these globalist companies, they’re designed to destroy the morality and chastity of the people.

And so it’s essential that we build this separate economic culture—where we’re not dependent on the conspiracy and its organizations to provide our clothing, our food, our oil.

Right now, we’re so dependent on the conspiracy, who’ve taken over all of the energy production. Now we’re dependent upon them for the prices at the pump—or what they charge for heating our homes.

So it’s essential that we find different ways and we work towards that. Obviously, this isn’t something we can do tomorrow—we wake up and suddenly we’re producing our own clothes, our own energy, our own food.

It’s something we have to recognize has to be done, and then find ways to do it.

But right now we’re first starting off: what is it that needs to be done?

It began here in the West, where the conspiracy was really working hard to bring the railroad through here—because they knew they could use that to change the culture by increasing the population of the anti-liberty people. The people that came here to destroy the culture of liberty.

And we see that the idea of increasing transportation and trade is a way they use to change the culture.

So we see that now in Utah with the Inland Port Authority. It’s a way that, A: destroys our security—because Salt Lake City becomes a port. Meaning it is seen as a coastal city, where anything that comes from China or California to Salt Lake City is treated as if it were sailing through the ocean—no checks, no oversight. That’s one problem with it.

But it also makes us more international—which we’ll talk about in a second—and how that decreases our independence as well.

They saw what we were doing here as a threat, and they needed to destroy it.

It was on the congressional record:

“I charge it to be a crying evil—the people here in Utah—sapping not only the physical constitution of the people practicing it [Mormonism], dwarfing their physical proportions and emasculating their energies…”

They said our belief system changed our physical proportions.

“It is a scarlet whore. It is a reproach to the Christian civilization and deserves to be blotted out.”

So they saw what we were doing as a threat—and they needed to destroy it.

One of the ways they do it—this is Nelson Rockefeller in his book The Future of Federalism—he writes about how they are destroying people’s economic and political independence through a certain means. He says:

“I have long felt that the road toward the unity of free nations lay through regional confederations in the Western Hemisphere and in the Atlantic community—perhaps eventually in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia…”

This was written in the late 1960s.

“Such work toward regional unities is in fact steadily progressing. The common market in Europe is an outstanding example.”

He was saying that what is now the European Union is the model they are trying to build to destroy political independence by first destroying economic independence.

These markets—right now they have the African Union, they have an Asian Union, and one in the Middle East.

And now we have—with NAFTA and the expansion of NAFTA that happened a few years ago—this is what they’re trying to do. What they already did back to Utah, now they’re trying to do to all the nations.

Destroy economic independence, because economic integration leads naturally to political integration, just like what happened with the European Union.

That’s exactly what the head of the CFR, Richard Haass, explained in Foreign Policy Magazine about a decade ago. He said that national sovereignty is diminishing, and this is being done mostly through free trade.

Understanding that—just going back—this was 50 years before: the idea of using these economic blocs, what they call free trade…

Which is where we really differ from a lot of libertarians. They support what they call free trade, despite the fact that all of the agreements like NAFTA and the European Union aren’t actually free trade. They increase regulation and they decrease national independence.

They use trade.

The idea they promote is that “more economic trade between countries means they’re less likely to go to war.” That’s one of their main selling points.

But what it actually does is make you dependent upon them.

Right now, we have no steel manufacturing in the United States. We’ve given up basically our national security over to China, where we get a lot of our metal for our military. And if the conspiracy didn’t control the military, that would be an even bigger problem.

We can see how if we are dependent, it doesn’t actually diminish war. It just makes it so you have to do what the other people say.

Otherwise, you’re going to lose the thing you’ve now become dependent on.

And so they are using this as a major method: the destruction of economic independence, leading to the destruction of political independence.

The Alfalfa Club: An Exclusive Look at America’s Hidden Power Structure

Invasion was banned by Amazon almost immediately after publication, what don’t they want you to know?

The Alfalfa Club, a highly secretive and exclusive organization, is often dismissed as an elite social gathering. However, its history and membership suggest a deeper influence. Founded under the guise of celebrating Confederate General Robert E. Lee’s birthday, the club includes high-profile politicians, business moguls, and judicial figures, such as Warren Buffett, Michael Bloomberg, John Roberts, and several former U.S. presidents. Membership is invitation-only, with new members selected upon the death of an existing one.

Despite its claimed frivolity, the club operates under strict secrecy. Media portrayals suggest it is merely a setting for elite networking and humor, yet its long-standing tradition, selective membership, and media blackout raise questions.
According to the Washington Post,

“The Alfalfa Club is more exclusive than most of Washington’s social organizations, and unlike, say, the Gridiron (which is all journalists), the members come from all sectors. Among the some 200 members, there’s a good contingent of political types (from both parties, but mostly senators; House members are kind of considered plebs in this crowd), and a heavy presence from the corporate world.

To name a few: Warren Buffett, Michael Bloomberg, Bill Marriott, Steve Case, Chief Justice John Roberts, White House senior advisor Valerie Jarrett, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Sandra Day O’Connor, Colin Powell, Madeleine Albright and Vernon Jordan.” (What’s the Deal With The Alfalfa Club, Emily Heil, Washington Post, 29 Jan. 2015)

Most of the articles try to dismiss it as a place where elites can let their hair down, get drunk and act silly,

“Described by members as a reunion, a party a chance to enjoy a few laughs and silly speeches. ‘It is an occasion for old friends to get together and where new friends can be made,’ said incoming president Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.). ‘The evening is filled with humor — some good and some not so good.’” (The Alfalfa Club: still a place for the powerful to see and be seen, Roxanne Roberts, Washington Post, 24 Jan. 2014)

Why is this a secret society? Why limit it to 200 elites, invitation only, with a media blackout, if it is simply to celebrate a dead “racist” and be goofy?
When they are speaking to each other about themselves, what do they say? We’ve uncovered a rare autobiography about the club and have discovered that the public image is not what they think about themselves.

Now whether it’s accurate or not, this is what they believe about themselves. This autobiography was published in 1917 written by club member, H. Ralph Burton. Burton was an insider with lots of Insider connections being:

• Special Investigator for the Senate Campaign Expenditures Committee (1938-39, 1940-41)
• Special Investigator for the House Appropriations Committee in charge of NYC
and State (1939-40)
• General Counsel to the House Military Affairs Committee (1941-47)
• Chief Investigator for the Senate Committee on Post Office and Civil Service (1947-48)
• General Counsel for the House Select Committee on Current Pornographic Materials (1952-53)
• Founding Member of National Press Club
• Head of the National Union for Social Justice

In this biography, Burton reveals that,

“The Honorable John Sharp Williams, in speaking to the Alfalfa Club on January 19, 1917, stated that to his knowledge the origin of the Alfalfa Club was indicated on the Rosetta Stone, with regard to which he elaborated at length. This proved of great interest to the members, because it is a subject about which there has always been great uncertainty. It may be of interest to the entire Club that there has been brought to my attention a manuscript which would not only corroborate Senator Williams, but which has at last given to the world information with regard to this renowned organization… Now, however, there is to be presented to those persons such historical facts with regard to this, the oldest club in existence.” (The Origin, History and Object of the Alfalfa Club, Burton, 1917, pg. 3)

Their claim is to be the “oldest club in existence”!

Burton then goes on to describe the club’s origins,

“When the first known king of the human race, Menes, united the two kingdoms of Egypt under one crown, which epoch is placed by various historians from 2717 B.C. to 5867 B.C., he found it necessary to gather about him a number of real good friends, who would not mix up with the barbarians to his detriment. To this association was intrusted the great royal secrets. It was called by the king, himself, “The Alfalfa Club,” which name has remained to the present day.” (Ibid. pg. 5, non-standard spellings in the original.)

Burton then goes on to recount the power and influence of the club throughout history saying,

“Upon the founding of the City of Memphis, and the building of the great temple of Pta, the royal archives were deposited with this organization. Mesilim, King of Kish, E-Anna-Tum, Queen Nictocrosis, Asshurbanipal, King of Ninevah, Cyrus, King of Elam, and their successors, turned to this Club for pleasure, assistance, and protection. It was guardian of the royal archives. Although little known in history, it was the power behind the throne through the generations of dynasties. It was the Colonel E. M. House of the olden days.” (Ibid)

It was an open secret among the establishment that House was the “power behind the throne”, referred to as “Wilson’s [President Woodrow Wilson] brain” (The Strangest Friendship in History: Woodrow Wilson and Colonel House by George Sylvester Viereck, New York: Liveright, Inc., 1932, pg. 10) This fact is manifest in Wilson’s comment,

“I have an intimate personal matter to discuss with you… You are the only person in the world with whom I can discuss everything.” (The Intimate Papers of Colonel House, Behind the Political Curtain, Charles Seymore, Houghton Mifflin Company, 1926, Vol. 1 pg.120)

The Alfalfa Club claims to be THE power behind every major power for the last 5,000 years and that the then current war, World War I, was being fought over control of these secrets.

The Alfalfa Club is another establishment secret society whose members and leaders are consistently pushing for the anti-Christ New World Order.

So we can see that these things—when we follow the cause of Christ—we learn in 2 Timothy: “All that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” I show those examples for liberty with the Founding Fathers because the cause of Christ is the cause of liberty—it is one and the same.

And so they suffered persecution. The same thing with the early Christian fathers. All of those examples were because the government was oppressing the people, and they stood for their liberty—the cause of Christ—and so they suffered persecution.

And so here we learn in the New Testament that all who live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

This is something I think about a lot. Obviously, I’m not receiving anything close to the persecution that we’ve covered tonight, but there are certain things that have happened that make me think, “Okay, hopefully that shows that I’m trying to do my best to live godly by promoting the cause of Christ—or the cause of liberty.”

But if I’m not receiving persecution, I ask myself: am I standing up? Am I proving that I am trying to live—or that I am living—godly in Christ Jesus? And so that’s something we have to look at: are we dedicating ourselves as the Founding Fathers did?

Are we receiving the fruits of that?

Yes.

I’d like to say something that I have thought for many years now—since I’ve been with you since, what, 2016 or something like that? 2017?

At one point, I was reading my scriptures—this is Alma 46, the Title of Liberty—and how he sent runners with the Title of Liberty on a pole, and sent runners to the outlying areas of his area of responsibility, calling these people to gather together for the cause of liberty. And it hit me—that’s what you’re doing.

You’re sending runners. You’re doing it electronically. You’re doing it by gathering us together for these meetings and promoting the cause of liberty.

And I thought of that, that when you’re reaching out now more and looking to start groups in different states and in different areas of a state—that that’s what you’re doing. It’s exactly what Moroni did, but you’re doing it electronically. And I think it’s really cool that you’re gathering the forces so that you can become strong and big to fight these enemies.

Appreciate that, Carmen. I don’t want to put this on me.

I’m hoping we all take this as a personal inventory on what are we doing as individuals. And we can all put that together and magnify our efforts together. So: are we putting forth the effort?

And this, I think, is important right here, because it says all shall receive persecution if we are doing this. If X, then Y. And so if we’re not getting the Y, then that means we need to look at the X—are we performing that thing as we should be?

If not, that’s a great point to be able to get our feet wet. Because I know that to suffer persecution is difficult, and it’s scary. And so I’ve talked about nullification and getting our toes wet and getting practice. And I think that same thing applies to all aspects of liberty.

Let’s expand ourselves. Let’s get uncomfortable.

But—it’s difficult. So we want to make sure that we’re doing it in a way that’s not going to scare us off and make sure we don’t do it. We recognize: this is a big, scary thing. But let’s just take it one step at a time, in our comfort level, to get there.

And as we get more persecution, that’s more blessings that we can see that are promised along these lines as well.

We look at the Lord here in Doctrine and Covenants section 101. It talks about the difference between those who are worried about their lives, versus those who are worried about doing what’s right. It says:

“And all they who suffer persecution for my name, and endure in faith—though they are called to lay down their lives for my sake—yet shall they partake of all this glory.
Wherefore, fear not even unto death. For in this world your joy is not full, but in me your joy is full.”

So don’t worry about losing out on any kind of supposed joy that you might have here—but recognize the long-term picture.

“Therefore, care not for the body, neither the life of the body, but care for the soul, and for the life of the soul.
And seek the face of the Lord always, that in patience ye may possess your souls, and ye shall have eternal life.”

“When men are called unto mine everlasting gospel and covenant with an everlasting covenant, they are accounted as the salt of the earth, and the savor of men.”

We are the Lord’s salt when we are putting forward the courage to do what’s right, no matter how scary it might be because of what men are doing to us.

“They are called to be the savor of men. Therefore, if that salt of the earth lose its savor, behold, it is henceforth good for nothing—only to be cast out and trodden under the feet of men.”

If we are too scared to do what’s right—because of X, Y, and Z that we mentioned in the beginning—then we are no longer of value to the work that God has put forward for us to do for the cause of liberty.

It’s the cause of Christ.

We’ve mentioned that since the very beginning—since the war in heaven—and how it was Christ’s side that was fighting for agency. And it is those that are following Satan that are working to destroy the liberty of man.

And so, since the very beginning—since before the world was—it was the cause of Christ to fight for liberty. Fighting for the cause of liberty meant that we were fighting for Christ and that it allowed us to get a body in the first place.

We cannot separate the cause of Christ from the cause of liberty. They are one and the same.

If you say, “I’m fighting for the cause of liberty,” you are saying you are fighting for the cause of Christ. And if you are saying that you fight for the cause of Christ, you’d better be fighting for the cause of liberty—because if you are not, you are not doing the former.

And so we will have lost—meaning, our value as salt is worthless—and we will be just cast out as garbage.

So we need to remember that liberty is worth the sacrifice. We do have to think of things long-term, and not just the short-term scariness of what’s going on.

As things progress, we can see that—with the things that were going on with the fake pandemic, and really the conspiracy as we look throughout time, whether it was 9/11 or the fake pandemic—now we see it with the economy going and how they are setting up things like social credit scores.

The conspiracy is really upping their game and speeding things up.

And so we really have to start now—just like we were taught as youth—that we have to say, “You know what? I’m going to say no to immorality. I’m going to say no to drugs and alcohol before those things are presented before me.”

Because if I don’t make that decision in advance, it will be difficult—when that situation is put before me—to make the right decision.

And so as things get escalated in this fight for liberty, I wanted to go over these things so we could take personal account with ourselves. That each of us as individuals says: “What decision can I make now, when this scary situation happens in the future?”

Or: “Take account of how I’ve done up till now. What should I have done better at? What can I do better at in the future?”

That way we can always be improving. We don’t look at our mistakes to beat ourselves up. We look at our mistakes to say, “How do I do better and improve?”

Otherwise, they’re not helpful.

And so we see how—one of the important things—we mentioned this a few weeks ago about mothers teaching their children this principle. Being taught either in our families growing up, or learning this principle now and applying it and teaching it to others—this was the sons of Helaman.

And it says that now they never had fought, yet they did not fear death. And they did think more upon the liberty of their fathers than they did upon their lives. So they understood this principle as well. They didn’t think about the short term. And that’s, I think, where our society today is really focused—so much on not only short-term gratification, but what is the short-term result of what’s being done, as opposed to the long term.

Those excuses that I mentioned earlier are all thinking short term: what’s going to happen to me right now? Not thinking about what’s going to happen long term if I don’t do the right thing.

And so these sons, that had never fought in war, didn’t know the horrors of war—they were not afraid. They knew that liberty was more important. There were certain things that were worse than death, and they wanted to make sure that even if it cost them their lives, that was a price they were willing to pay for a greater cause: the liberty of their fathers.

And so in Daniel, we hear ancient prophets—this is talking about the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Daniel chapter 3 says:

“Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer”—I’m going to probably mispronounce all of those—“and all kinds of music, shall fall down and worship the golden image.”

So this is the order from the government to captured Israel. And they were commanded to all get down and worship the golden image:

“And whoso falleth not down and worshipeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.”

“There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon—Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego—these men, O king, have not regarded thee. They serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.”

So they openly rebelled. They openly said, you know what? There are certain things—they knew what the consequence was, that they would be killed, that they would be burned alive in a furnace if they did not do this thing the government told them to do—and they went against it.

And it says:

“Then they brought these men before the king. So Nebuchadnezzar spake and said to them, ‘Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego? Do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?’”

So he’s furious, brings them forward, and asks them again—gives them an opportunity to deny, kind of deny the Christ, basically, in that situation. And so they admitted it. They said, “Yeah, I’m willing to pay the price.”

Their response to the king was:

“If it be so, our God whom we serve—meaning if it be so that we get burned—our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.”

So we know the story—kind of hindsight is 20/20—but here they’re saying, “We believe that God will protect us. But even if He doesn’t deliver us out of your hands—it’s okay. It doesn’t matter. If it’s God’s will to protect me, that’s great. If it’s not, we’re still not going to worship this golden image. We’re not going to violate our conscience. We’re going to do the right thing, no matter what the consequence is.”

They knew that there were circumstances that they could be delivered. But they also recognized that maybe they wouldn’t be delivered. That was irrelevant. The deliverance from the harm was irrelevant. And we know the history that they were protected, but that doesn’t always happen.

There’s Daniel in chapter 6:

“All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors and the princes, the counselors and the captains have consulted together to establish a royal statute and to make a firm decree that whosoever shall ask a petition of any god or man for thirty days—save thee (except thee)—shall be cast into the den of lions.”

So no praying to anybody but the king. And so Daniel, knowing the writing was signed—this was a law that was passed—he went into his house, and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day and prayed and gave thanks before his God as he did aforetime.

So he didn’t change. He didn’t make an excuse and say, “You know, I’m going to go do this in secret. What they don’t know won’t hurt them.” He didn’t pretend like he was obeying them. No—with his windows open—he prayed so everyone could hear and see him.

And so these men assembled and found Daniel praying, making supplication before his God. So he was seen. And we all know the story about how he was brought, but it goes to show us that Daniel wasn’t worried about what was going to happen to him right then. He wasn’t worried about not being able to provide for those—or, you know, the rest of Israel.

We don’t know what the rest of Israel did, but I tend to think that probably the rest of the Israelites were going along with it—or at least maybe pretending and only praying in secret—because the only record we have of someone going against it and going into the lions’ den was Daniel.

And so the rest of the “members of the church” at the time were going along with it—or at least pretending to. And it was only Daniel that was going against the grain, going against what everybody else was doing.

And he didn’t say, “Well, everybody else is doing it. What is this going to benefit? If I’m dead, how is this going to help other people?” He just knew he had to do the right thing. And whatever—do what is right, let the consequence follow. That’s what he was worried about.

We learn about this with Abinadi in Mosiah chapter 13:

“Ye see that ye have not power to slay me. Therefore, I finish my message.”

So at that point, he was being protected. They could not grab him. They could not hurt him. And so he finished his message:

“Yea, and I perceive that it cuts you to your hearts because I tell you the truth concerning your iniquities. Yea, and my words fill you with wonder and amazement—and with anger.”

It’s always what happens when you’re telling the truth: the guilty find the truth to be hard.

“But I finish my message. And then it matters not whether I go—if it so be that I am saved.”

Meaning saved—his soul, not his body. Because he goes on to say, whatever you’re going to do to me after I’m done giving this message that I was commanded by God to give—whatever happens after that, that’s not my problem. Because doing what I was told, no matter the consequence, is what matters. He didn’t fear man; he feared God. And he was willing to do the right thing, no matter what the short-term outcome would be.

So we go to Alma 46. This is about the Title of Liberty. And you have Moroni seeing that there’s this conspiracy going on where these people want to take away the liberty of the people. And so Moroni says:

“It came to pass that he rent his coat, and he took a piece thereof and wrote upon it: ‘In memory of our God, our religion and freedom, and our peace, our wives, and our children.’ And he fastened it upon the end of a pole, and he fastened on his headplate, and his breastplate, and his shields, and girded on his armor about his loins. And he took the pole which had on the end thereof his rent coat, and he called it the Title of Liberty.”

“And he bowed himself to the earth, and he prayed mightily unto his God for the blessings of liberty to rest upon his brethren, so long as there should be a band of Christians remain to possess the land.”

For thus were all the true believers of Christ who belonged to the church of God called—by those who did not belong to the church. And those who did belong to the church were faithful.

Yea, those who were true believers in Christ took upon them gladly the name of Christ—or Christians, as they were called—because of their belief in Christ, who should come.

And therefore, at this time, Moroni prayed that the cause of the Christians and the freedom of the land might be favored.

So here we see that the cause of the Christians is the freedom of the land, right? The cause of liberty is the cause that anybody calling themselves a follower of Christ—it is their cause. We need to understand that. If we are going to consider ourselves Christians, we need to realize that the cause of liberty is a vital part of that.

Continuing on in Alma 46, it says:

“It came to pass that when he had poured out his soul to God, he named all the land which was south of the land Desolation—yea, and in fine, all the land both on the north and on the south—a chosen land and a land of liberty.”

So there’s a lot of people out there saying we need to just focus on the one part—that we just need to be preaching about the Savior. Well, when we leave out the principles of liberty—this is the land of liberty—we are leaving out a vital part of the cause of Christ.

“Surely God shall not suffer that we, who are despised because we take upon us the name of Christ, shall be trodden down and destroyed—until we bring it upon us by our own transgressions.”

The land of liberty will not be taken down—we won’t have our liberty taken away—unless we take it away by our own actions, because we have transgressed and not fought for liberty.

“And when Moroni had said these words, he went forth among the people, waving the rent part of his garment in the air, that all might see the writing which he had written upon the rent part, and crying with a loud voice…”

So he’s spreading the word. He’s helping others understand and learn about the principles of liberty, and how liberty is directly linked to the Savior.

“Behold, whosoever will maintain this title upon the land, let them come forth in the strength of the Lord and enter into a covenant that they will maintain their rights, and their religion, that the Lord God may bless them.”

So he’s sharing—he’s spreading around the message. And he says they need to enter into a covenant with God that they will maintain their rights. That is the thing they have to do to maintain the favor and blessings of the Lord: to stand up and maintain, do the work—not just say, “Yes, I read it,” or “I like it”—but they do the work to maintain their rights.

So it’s part of the covenant as followers of Christ to maintain our rights if we are to expect those blessings of the Lord.

“We covenant with our God that we shall be destroyed, even as our brethren in the land northward, if we shall fall into transgression.”

Meaning: we violate that covenant of defending liberty.

“Yea, he may cast us at the feet of our enemies, even as we have cast our garments at thy feet to be trodden underfoot, if we shall fall into transgression.”

Meaning: if we fail to keep our promise to maintain liberty.

So failing to defend liberty was a violation of their covenants—something they recognized deserved a just punishment from God.

There’s a couple of different things—mindsets—that you hear a lot, excusing either themselves or others for doing something that is really not appropriate, not good. It’s unprincipled. And, you know, you’ll see officer excuses, either for themselves or for others, about officers—“they’re just following orders.”

And this was actually, you know, it’s—I don’t know, ironic might be the wrong word—but I find it interesting when I hear people use this for excusing police and other government officials for doing something wrong. The excuse that they were given was that they were just following orders, when that was the exact excuse that was given during the Nuremberg trials for the Nazi soldiers. And it was said that that’s not an acceptable excuse to do something wrong.

And so that’s something that I still hear on a regular basis for why people do things that are wrong. We heard this at our meeting that we reported on a few weeks ago, where the cop was talking about himself—or he was talking about a different officer—where they had to take the vaccine or they had to enforce something they knew was wrong to protect their job, so that they could provide for their family.

Or the other ones that I’ve heard before are that, you know, “If I didn’t do that thing, it didn’t matter because someone else would do it anyway.” So why—you know—it wouldn’t make a difference anyway. “Why put my neck out there? Why bother if it’s not going to make a difference anyways?”

And so this is kind of the mindset that I find to be very cowardly and helps to perpetuate the situation that we’re in. And we need to—if there’s any part of us that has this mindset—you know, I’m hoping that, you know, of course, if we’re here, that the majority of our mindset is outside of this. But if there’s any of that, you know, hidden away somewhere, I’m hoping to purge any of that that we might have left in our minds, because it’s wrong. And it helps to make things worse. And we need to really show ourselves as being principled and standing for what’s right no matter what.

Founding fathers—

Can I make one brief comment there?

Yeah, go ahead.

I was just going to say, it’s so interesting because I work with other professionals, right? So if you have, say, an electrician come to your home—like, I am not your boss. You are at my home. You will wire it this way, right? And what does the electrician say? “You’re an idiot. I can’t do it that way. And I won’t do it that way. Goodbye.” No.

And literally any other profession—you know, whether it’s a mechanic, electrician, you name it—other than government-run institutions, who will just flat deny anything—someone else’s orders on top of their own. And it doesn’t matter. Right?

People will come that I’ve worked with, and you’ll get a bid for one thing. The person will show up to actually do it. They’ll look at it and say, “Well, I don’t care what my supervisor said or what the guy giving you the bid said. That does not work.”

And so it’s strange to me that there is that, you know, that disconnect. That with government, that is absolutely 100% good. And in fact, it’s a badge of honor to just go along with what someone else is telling you to do. But, you know, then with every other profession we interact with, they’d never let that happen.

Yeah.

Even at Chick-fil-A—you go there, you forget your wallet—what do the people say? “Oh hey, just pay us next time.” It’s just—every other profession other than government allows individuals to use their moral free agency and their professional training to make decisions.

So anyway, I just thought that was interesting as I’ve compared and contrasted this. And I don’t know what the cognitive dissonance or the disconnect is in all of us, you know—and especially those officers perpetrating this, you know—and, you know, like Dan McKay when he, you know, had the guy gagged and thrown out of the Utah Capitol for wearing a “We the People” shirt. “Oh, this is just going along with what the other guys told me to do.”

But I think you make a good point too, Nate, that it’s only acceptable in certain criteria. We only let certain professions get away with that. You mentioned electricians, right? I mean, there’s just different things out there that—they’re just going to not do it because it’s wrong. And the fact that other people—

All of a sudden you’re in government, and you don’t have to follow your conscience anymore. It’s bizarre.

I appreciate you chiming in. The Founding Fathers at the end of the Declaration of Independence—they stated that:

“We mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.”

So they were putting their sacred honor—their reputations—on the line. Their fortunes—they were willing to put their resources on the line to get the job done. They were willing to put their lives on the line.

So was this just a platitude? Was this just a, you know, a figure of speech? Or did they actually implement this? Did they show in their daily lives after they signed the Declaration of Independence that that’s what they would actually do?

And I say that yes—they actually proved that they did pledge their lives—their actual lives, their actual fortunes, and their actual honor to get the job done.

So I just want to kind of go over some of the examples of that. There were five of the signers that were captured by the British during the war, and they were brutally tortured. So they were willing to be tortured for the cause.

Nine of them fought in the war, and they died from their wounds or from hardships because of it.

Four of them had their sons captured or even killed. So not only—you know, sometimes we’re like, “Yeah, okay, I’m willing to sacrifice for myself, but you involve my kids in this thing…” That’s a whole other story. You know, I’m not—you know…

These guys were willing to put their own children on the line for the cause. Not in a cowardly way, where they’re like pushing their kids in the forefront so they didn’t have to suffer—but no, there was this actual sacrifice. And I think that that’s—you know, sometimes children and families are used as a leverage against people to do the wrong things, to violate their conscience. But these men said, “No, I’m willing to do that.”

Yeah.

Twelve or more had their homes destroyed due to their efforts—their farms, their lands—destroyed because of their involvement in the Declaration of Independence.

All of them gave up hundreds of thousands of what would be dollars today—it wasn’t the money they used back then—but what would be hundreds of thousands of dollars to the cause. They were giving up their riches to be able to support what was needed, to provide the support that was needed in the field to get the job done.

And they had their businesses destroyed. There were shipping companies—they were owners of shipping companies—that had their ships confiscated and destroyed and their businesses.

They didn’t say, “Oh, you know, if I stand up for this, it might hurt my business.” They were willing to sacrifice their very livelihood. So not just giving up their money—meaning “Here is some money, get this done”—but they sacrificed their ability to provide for their families to make sure that the cause was supported.

And so we can see that these are people that put their money where their mouth is, so to say. That there was nothing—there was no part of their life—that they weren’t willing to put on the line. There was no excuse of, “Oh, I’ve got to support my family,” or “I don’t want to lose my job,” or “I don’t…” You know—whatever it was. “Oh, yes, I’m willing to sacrifice my life, but not my kids.” There was no part of their life that they weren’t willing to put on the line to consecrate to the cause of liberty.

Right.

And this isn’t just the Founding Fathers. But we go throughout time—those that understand these principles. These are the principles I’m going to go over and show—how what we’re talking about right here and what we do at Tree of Liberty is the cause of Christ.

And so I want to show what the early Christian leaders—what did they do? What did they sacrifice for the cause?

You had Zacharias, who was the father of John the Baptist. He was killed in the temple for not disclosing his son’s hiding place. John the Baptist—he was in hiding, and they wanted to know where he was, and Zacharias didn’t tell them. And so they killed him for it.

You had the apostle Paul—he was beheaded. Peter was hung upside down. Andrew himself was crucified. Thomas was killed by the spears of four Roman soldiers. Philip was tortured to death. James was stoned and clubbed to death.

And then later on—even so, it wasn’t just the Christians right around the time of Christ—but even a couple of hundred years after the time of Christ, you had St. Lawrence, who was grilled to death, because Christianity was deemed by the Roman government “the hatred of the human race.” So it wasn’t just like, “Oh, it was your religion.” It was—Christianity was deemed just a threat to humanity in general.

And so they grilled him—they barbecued him to death—because of that. And he was willing to put his life and be tortured in that way to support the cause of Christ.

We go from the 1870s to the 1930s and ’40s, and we have a certain group of people—Latter-day Saints in the American West—that were being trodden down as well by government, as well as mobs, abused, falsely imprisoned to such a point where even people that weren’t a part of their faith said that they were being abused and they wouldn’t stand up for them, like Alexander Doniphan.

And so, to be able to defend themselves and to be able to defend their rights—their God-given rights. I’ve talked about this a lot: are we begging for our rights? Are we saying that our rights come from a president, a governor, a legislator, a congressman, a judge? Or are we going to say, no, God already gave us our rights, and so I’m going to claim them?

Joseph knew that that’s what he had to do. And so he explained here—he says:

“I organized into a special council to take into consideration the best policy for this people to adopt to obtain their rights from the nation and secure protection for themselves and children and to secure a resting place in the mountains or some uninhabited region where we can enjoy the liberty of conscience guaranteed to us by the Constitution of our country.”

He recognized that they could not enjoy the liberty of conscience if they continued to live amongst people that they were not united in. It’s impossible. It leads to the strife that they saw. He recognizes we have to separate ourselves. That’s the only way we are going to be able to guarantee our rights.

And Brigham Young explained the same principle. He says:

“You all know and have doubtless felt for years the necessity of a removal, provided the government should not be sufficiently protective to allow us to worship God according to the dictates of our own consciences and of the omnipotent voice of eternal truth.”

Two cannot walk together except they be agreed. That’s that same principle that Pufendorf was talking about. You’re going to have these two people that aren’t on the same page, and there’s going to be strife. You can be friends with people, right? You can be friends. You’re like, hey, we have different views, and we have different ideas of what government should do. And you go over there—you over there in France—you can do your thing. And we’re over here in America, and we’re going to do our thing. But we’re not going to be together in governing ourselves. And so, to walk together, we have to be agreed.

And Orson Spencer, talking about this—this was after when the Saints were looking for a place outside of the United States again, out of Illinois, trying to figure out what are we going to do?—and he, in a memorial to Congress, said:

“And we will lay down the following principle, which the friends to national union may do well to consider.”

Okay, just like we talked about before, people say—people that are naysayers, people that want to support the status quo of giving the government more power—will say that nullification leads to strife and leads to rebellion and leads to the dissolving of a country. Well, the Founding Fathers said no—nullification is what will keep us together, because that’s enforcing the Constitution. So he says this is a principle that will actually do well to consider, that does not lead to strife, but actually helps to keep people friends. The principle is this:

“That men of congenial interest should separate themselves from those of adverse interests and pair off each to each. The promiscuous intermixture of heterogeneous bodies for the purpose of unity and strength is alike distant both from pure religion and sound philosophy.”

He says this principle is based not only in what people have been able to observe, but it’s what the scriptures have taught throughout time—that people of similar interests need to be able to be together. And so that’s what was happening.

We celebrate what’s traditionally called Pioneer Day—which I think, and I will show you, there’s a better name for it. The time must come when there will be a separation between this kingdom and the kingdoms of this world, even in every point of view. The time must come when this kingdom must be free and independent from all other kingdoms.

Are you prepared to have the thread cut today? The people in Utah, they said, no—we’re going to leave. You guys aren’t on the same page as us. We have to come out here. We’re declaring independence. We’re cutting the thread.

Heber C. Kimball explained:

“We shall eventually be a free people—an independent people. And I will tell you, the day of our separation has come, and we are a free and an independent people.”

That’s what their goal was. They were separating themselves from those that they could not walk in agreement with.

Brigham Young said:

“I say, as the Lord lives, we are bound to become a sovereign state in the Union or an independent nation by ourselves.”

He understood that they were not going to allow us to be a sovereign state—that they were going to be over us. Just like we can see that in the Utah State Constitution, that we are merely a subsidiary of the federal government, that the state of Utah is not a sovereign state. And so, if they’re not going to give us our sovereignty, we have to be an independent nation by ourselves.

“It is the duty of the true minister of Christ to teach them by precept and example how to become an independent nation—not global citizens.”

These are principles that are over time. This wasn’t something that just Brigham Young taught. This wasn’t something that the Founding Fathers taught. This is something that we’ve gone over. You can see it in the Old Testament. You can see the New Testament. You can see it in the natural law philosophers of Europe. You can see it in what the Founding Fathers taught, and you can see it in what these men taught.

And the conspiracy has done a job to help us to forget—to make us forget. Because if we forget these principles, then we will continue to whimper and beg for our rights like dogs. We will say that they are the author of our liberty and not God. And we will continue to work in this process of all the things we talk about in Liberty Boot Camp—of all of the different traditional solutions that are actually designed to give the government power. Following these traditional solutions is what has put us into the situation that we’re in.

We need to remember—right?—the Founding Fathers, they looked at history. They said, “Okay, look throughout time—what kind of government was able to preserve liberty? What provided liberty to the people?”

But before that, they said—and what we’re showing here is—if you’re in a situation where you are not in a free government, how do you make a free government? And so this is what we need to do.

This is why we talk so much about the importance of ruining these Satanists’ legitimacy—because the more that people understand that they’re illegitimate, the less that they will be listened to, and the more that we can start to have the liberty that God has promised us.

And so instead of calling it Pioneer Day, I like to call it Deseret Independence Day, because it gives a clearer idea of what was going on. As a kid, I always thought that the pioneer stories were boring. They were just a bunch of people just in covered wagons walking across the plains. What for? I mean, it didn’t make any sense. It was more than just, you know, simple “Hey, we need to separate ourselves because we’re being attacked.” There were solid principles on this. And we weren’t just pioneers—we weren’t explorers discovering a new land. There was an actual idea and a principle behind it, and something that was trying to be done.

And the conspiracy has worked to destroy our understanding of that—on the whole with America and the War for Independence, as well as in the West and what we’ve done—what was being done to build independence here.

So it’s my hope that we will bring about those things to our remembrance, and we will start to implement those things individually. And as we get stronger, that we can do it on a much broader scale.
