Marc Dutroux was a Jeffrey Epstein-like figure in Belgium in the 1980s and 90s. He kidnapped, tortured, and raped several girls and women of different ages. One of the times he was captured, the investigation pointed to many public figures, particularly those in authority, including judges, police officers, UNICEF workers, and more. The Belgian government swept it all under the rug, handing out minor sentences to some involved, and major ones to others, who did not serve for long.

This story also has direct ties to Satanic Ritual Abuse.
