Very first, right? This is the, yeah, very first training for 2025, Carmen,
give us the minutes for the last meeting of last year. Okay. Wonderful, Carmen.
Thank you. You’re welcome, Ben. Okay, I’m ready. So, over the weekend,
I sent out an email and a, I think a text as well about some needs for the
organization and I just wanted to say thank you so much. I am humbled and I really
appreciate everyone that was able to step up and we were able to get those expenses
taken care of. And so just I just wanted to thank you. I really appreciate everyone
doing it and doing it so quickly. So I just wanted to say how much I appreciate
it.
The next thing I wanted to bring up is the book club we had last week. really
appreciate everyone that came to that. We’re able to cover chapters one through
three, and so not this coming Wednesday, but the following Wednesday, we’ll be
covering four, five, and six. And so I encourage you again, please come,
please participate, and please invite others. It’s important to help us to grow, that
we have other people that they can come to do these types of You know public
things that we do and they can see what we’re about and they can become better
informed and Which will help them also take better action. So I just encourage you
all to do that Also starting next week and there’s There’s gonna be two.
I think yeah, I’ll probably divide it into two different trainings that we’re going
to be coming up. I’m thinking about making it public, but I just wanted to let you
know that there’ll be special trainings where we have some guest people come on to
talk about some of the different examples of individuals that are coming together to
be able to be separate from the economic and political system that we find ourselves
ourselves in that we talk about being a major part of the solution is just building
something new and these are individuals that have that have done that and with both
of them that these aren’t having these people on aren’t endorsements of specifically
what they’re doing but they’re giving examples of people moving in that direction and
you can kind of say I do like that or I see what’s good there and I want to
apply those good things and then fix those things I don’t agree with and and find
others that we can join together with to do those things and that’s those are some
very important aspects of the the solution and so next week we have the first one
scheduled and I’m working on on the other one hopefully it’ll be two weeks in a
row so just want to let you all know about that and encourage you all to to come
next week as well. Hopefully you’ll come every week, but just want to let you give
your heads up what’s coming up next week. It’s all scheduled. So anybody have any

Alrighty, well, then let’s go ahead and get right into training For this week.
All right. So I want to talk about zeal without knowledge. And this is something
that comes up, you know, is a, is
Um, the situation that we deal with with members is, but mostly people that we’re
trying to bring along to become active. And what we’re doing, um, is this idea, uh,
Robert Welch, he, he had a saying that I like a lot. He said that, and I
mentioned this before in training education without action leads to frustration action
without education leads to fanaticism. And So it’s very important.
And this was something that I was, you know, as I was starting to awaken to the
awful situation of what was really going on in the very beginning of, you know,
realizing what was happening, but is there anything that can be done about it?
Because as you learn about, I was just becoming kind of frustrated and, you know,
was trying to like, I was like, do I have to hide, you know, what are the things
that that you do about this. What does this information do for me and how do I
apply this information? And so what happens is a lot of times we gain a little bit
of knowledge and then we go off as if we have a lot of knowledge. And so we
become those, we have zeal without knowledge, the fanaticism based on just a little
bit of information. And there’s that saying where I know just enough to be
dangerous. And that’s where a lot of people involved in the freedom movement are
today. They know just enough to be extremely dangerous. And so I want to talk about
that. And what happens is they learn something and they say, and because they’re
hopefully they’re moral people, this is a moral reaction, is I see evil in the
world, I want to do something to stop it. And so because they, they learned
something they didn’t know before, they, they feel like they, they’re more informed
than the average person. So they don’t feel like they need to learn anything more.
They can, they, they have, they feel like they have enough information to act. And
so that is something that, that we need to, to fight within ourselves because it
leads to problems. I want to go over some of the scripture that talks about this
in Proverbs the King James translation is also that the soul be without knowledge it
is not good and he that hasteth with his feet thinneth
so I wanted to look at a couple of different translations maybe give us a bigger
picture of what that means so we see in the new international version that desire
without knowledge is not good. How much more will hasty feet miss the way? You have
the new living, it says enthusiasm without knowledge is no good. Haste makes
mistakes. You have the new revised standard version, desire without knowledge is not
good. And one who moves too hurdly misses the way. So we have these,
you know, four different ways to say basically the same thing. So just looking at
these things, I want to get, what are some of your thoughts? What does this mean?
How do we apply that? How do we see that? Any ideas, any thoughts?
Well, this is Mark. Yeah, you have to have both or you’re going to fail and or do
damage. And I want to mention, you have to have education and you have to that
action, but they have to come together. I mean, they have to go together. You can’t
have one without the other without doing damage and often aiding and vetting the
enemy. But I wanted to mention this is actually a strategy of the conspiracy. They
don’t mind you learning some information. For example, some people that generally want
to be on our side and freedom side, let’s see how bad Hillary or Biden is. They
didn’t realize that we had presidents that were such traders and so harmful,
but and the conspiracy just loves that if that’s all they see, but they don’t see
the other. The opposition is exactly with them. It’s so so important that we have
adequate knowledge. The there’s a term used for those who have the knowledge but
don’t take action, it’s a metaphor and that is armchair patrons.
They sit and learn but they don’t go to action. They both have to exist or we’re
going to be not only doing no good and neutralize but we’re often going to do
harm. Yeah, absolutely. Thank you. Anybody else? Any other thoughts? I was going to
complain about using those good apostate Bibles. If you wanted a secular,
you wanted the secular approach, I’m surprised you didn’t use the duet version. Well,
I was just looking through, there’s a website that kind of has each, each different
Bible translation of a verse. And so I wanted to get a wide variety because I felt
that these, you know, I agree, we don’t want to be getting into kind of the new
age movement, new world, religion type translations, because some of these, especially
the new international version, and new living, they’ve got some really bad
translations. But I thought they all on this one particular, they all kind of gave
a different angle, but meant the same thing. So yeah, I hear what you’re saying,
though, Alan. I have an example that happened today. I was super excited to see
that Justin Trudeau was resigning. but then I remembered there’ll just be another
tyrant. The one the devil we don’t know is might take his shoes and so um yeah it
there’s no resting on our haunches but I was zealous for the the thought that it
would be somebody great that would replace it. Well I have exactly the same kinds
of thought um this is why we have to know the conspiracy and know its power,
to know the old phrase of difference in degree is a difference in kind,
literally that’s not true, but practically it is true. If you don’t know the degree
of the control and power of the conspiracy, it doesn’t help a lot just to know
there’s a conspiracy out there. So the conspiracy controls Canada just like it does
the United States. And so one guy down, the next guy up. So we have to be
fighting like Ben keep pointing out the conspiracy. Thank you.

One more time. Yeah. I think you’re in the whole boat. Okay.
Trudeau resigned so they can be absorbed into the United States.
But we were wack old liberals from the north. That’s the long -term goal that way
they’ve talked about for sure.
But just from a conspiracy perspective they’ve already been absorbed.
They control both the United States. It’s not official yet. We really need to look
at it from that perspective constantly. – Yep. So getting back to this, it’s just
really important that we temper ourselves. There have been so many times where I
learned something and it was like this half the picture. And I go off and I say
some of the half cocked and I’m like, oh, whoops, I, that was, you know, there was
another half of the sentence was left off and I, You know, misquoted the whole, you
know, intent of what was said. And so if I’d just been, you know, okay, hold on.
Let me look at what’s going on here. Is there, you know, any more data I can, I
can gather to make sure I, I don’t accuse somebody of something or I, I don’t go
off and, and, uh, do something that will, you know, is actually going to be
detrimental to what I would like or ruin my own credibility because I spoke too
soon. And so it’s really important for us to really, you know,
it is Satan that rushes us, gives us that, you know, that feeling of, you know, I
can’t, we can’t wait another minute.
It is that the Lord gives us that calm, that peace that says, yes,
you need to act, but let’s make sure we have all of the data to make sure that
we make the right choice. There’s been a topic that I’ve been studying for several
months now that I’m like, you know, I think I’m on the right page, but I’m just
like, I need more. I want to gather just a little more data before I, you know,
make, I really feel confident in, in, in the conclusions that I’m coming to.
And so it’s, it’s, it’s, it bears out from experience the importance that we see in
the, in the, in the scriptures of making sure that we are, we’re not, our feet are
not hastening before the knowledge matches our actions.
– And I’d like to give some guidance on this. This is really what you’re addressing
here. First of all, that’s what in logic, we say jumping to a conclusion. I see
people doing this all the time without adequate evidence to back up their assertions.
Now, here’s what I advise, This is what I use. There’s two standards out there that
are my standard before I can arrive at something as a fact or Include in analysis
that’s factual. One is the scientific standard and the scientific method method The
highest standard is 97 % certainty So you want to be at least the 97 % certainty
before you search something the other standard is the legal standard What is it for
a criminal trial? It’s beyond a reasonable doubt. And both those standards are very
close to each other. So I recommend when you write at it, what you think is a
conclusion, compare it to that standard. Am I 97 % sure?
Does the evidence support that? Is it beyond a reasonable doubt that what I’m saying
is Any thoughts on what I’ve just said is, yeah. – That’s a good thing to do
before we act on something to make sure that we’ve done that. And not just like
what belief do you have, what conclusion are you coming to? But make sure we have
that before we act on something because too often, right? It’s those things that
we’re gonna talk about is those false solutions that are presented out there to us
because that’s what we hear, right? This individual on talk radio told us about this
problem they said the solution was this, therefore I’m going to do what they said
the solution was to the problem that that they told me was the problem. Well, did
I find out that the problem was a real problem? Did I find out if the solution
that they gave would actually fix the problem? Or would it make it worse? Or would
it give credibility to the person causing the problem? And so, you know, yeah, so
it’s all of those things are really, really important. The point you’re making is
that to determine whether it’s fact or not, you have to have a lot of knowledge
education. You have a history. America is so ignorant of their political history.
And so that that makes a huge difference in being able to arrive at conclusions.
And it’s a fine line between that and ever learning and never coming to a
knowledge. We don’t want to be paralyzed into inaction because we’re afraid of doing
the wrong thing, but we just want to make sure we’re being prudent and wise.
And so as we continue on, right, acting too soon can be worse than never acting.
And that’s what happens, especially in the Liberty movement, is there’s
Right? They’re talking about, you know, keeping your eye on the ball. And we’ve
talked about what are the solutions that will actually fix the problem. And so when
we start to realize that and that starts to solidify, okay, we wanna focus over
here. The conspiracy is gonna pop up with another shiny object for us to say, oh
my goodness, this is so important, I need to focus on this. And it’s designed that
way. And when we’re like, okay, hold on, does this take us off the real path to
the solution or is this designed to get us distracted? And so we need to make sure
that if we act too soon, it is generally because something shiny has been dangled
in front of us to distract us.
And so to deal without knowledge leads to chasing the next shiny object instead of
focusing on the task at hand, right? just that low attention span where we’re just
like squirrel. And so, you know, we see those things, taxes, schools, you know,
what’s going on in the government schools, regulations on our businesses, inflation,
making it harder to go shopping, the side of my supremacy movement, abortion,
elections. So yeah, those are all important things on their own. And those are all
things that are affecting us and causing us problems. problems, but
Is this gonna be just a game of whack -a -mole where we’re gonna say oh no a new
tax We’re gonna go we’re gonna go fight Congress and tell them not to lower our
taxes Oh, thank goodness. They only lowered them to hired him 2 % instead of 5 % we
had a victory That’s a distraction where it was very difficult for us to realize
that because we’re like oh are you saying we shouldn’t fight high taxes Or we
shouldn’t fight abortion Well, It’s that it’s the arsonist and these are those things
where if we understand there’s an arsonist and we focus on the arsonist a .k .a The
conspiracy and we stop the arsonist those other things go away But they’re designed
to get us to go we got to go fight taxes. We got to go fight abortion We got to
go fight the some of the sodomites in the schools. We got to go make sure that
Obama is not elected Because if we do that, we’re not fighting the conspiracy And
And we’re not doing the things that are necessary for us to keep the ball on of
what is causing those problems, and then what is the real solution to those
problems. And so we have to, we have to have a less shallow understanding of things
where we say, yes, that is a problem. That’s a bad thing. But what is the real
solution it is it is not what everything everybody we hear on talk radio or the
news tell us is where we should be focused Any thoughts questions comments ban for
me the operational We’re term used with shadow all these are based on these issues
here are these Are there’s fundamental of principles or knowledge underlying every one
of it. And we learn those fundamental principles or ideology. We need to learn the
law when it comes to all all these the law applies to the constitution onward. We
need to learn more moral principles. They apply godly law. We need to learn history,
American history, political history, we need to learn politics, we need to learn
political systems, which one’s just which is one’s Godly and which ones aren’t and
we need to learn economics. Those are foundational knowledge to all all of these and
you can finish each one of these and one or more of those categories. Thank you.
So this is an example that’s always brought before us right is who which one of
these two people are, you know, are the lesser of two evils when we focus on the
on the politics because they always want us to, especially every two in four years,
they want us to focus on the election. And this is the most important election of
our lifetime. And some people that have been with us for a long time, remember this
example. And this is always, of course, the way that it’s presented, you have the
one person that is a god fearing man, and you have another one who is a lying
philanderer that’s trying to ruin America. And these are our two options.
And yeah, he’s, you know, he’s the God fearing man, he’s not perfect, but he’s 80 %
on our side and a person that’s 80 % my friend, you know, is not my enemy. And
that’s how it’s sold to us. And so there’s a presentation by Stephen Pratt that I
really like and I’ve kind of boiled it down to some key points. And so I want to
show you that boiled down part of his presentation that covers this important
principal force and how it’s designed to get us focused on,
you know, on the next shiny object. Every two -year shiny object, every four -year
shiny object.

“Pictures.” That’s the unabridged version. In this book, it’s the history of the
world. Now, if you’re going to do the history of the world, it’s going to take
more than 1 ,000. Oh, that’s sweet. Okay. Why is it not playing audio?

That’s the unabridged version in this book. It’s the history of the world now You’re
gonna if you’re gonna do the history of the world it’s gonna take more than 1300
pages to do a complete history, but he does a pretty credible stab at it and he
stabs literally he stabs certain people in Individuals as he goes along But he want
to look at his page one thousand two hundred and forty seven
He’s explaining what the ideal situation is. The ideal situation would be,
the Democratic and Republican parties should be almost identical so that the American
people can throw the rascals out at any election without leading to any profound or
extensive shifts in policy.
So we threw out the Democrats, we put in the White Eisenhower, and we threw out
the White Eisenhower, we put in the Democrats, then we threw out the Democrats and
put into the Republicans. And then we went back and forth, back and forth, and
since the days of Franklin Roosevelt we have had no person in the presidency that
would follow the Constitution. None. Oh, we say he was a great conservative. Ronald
Reagan was a great– nonsense. He spent more money in his day than any president
prior to him. Is spending money a conservative? Is that a measure of
conservativeness? And he never followed the Constitution any better than the other
people back then. So don’t give me Ronald Reagan, for an example, unless you can
produce evidence to show that he followed the Constitution. This objective, stated so
clearly on page 1247 is now in place. We have to finally just say,
“I’m not going to vote for the lesser of two evils ever again.” I did that about
three years ago. That’s when I finally came to this conclusion. Now, I scratched
that evil because one of my friends was offended when I talked about President
George Bush and used I said, “You know, we have to vote between the lesser of two
evils,” and he says, “That offends me.” He said, “My president’s not evil,” but six
months later he said, “It was okay to use
evil.” If you went to the polls, say tomorrow, and you were going to vote for
president of the United States. Now, I chose these two people because we have a
little track record on them. Not, we don’t know all of their life, I wished we
did, but we know enough that we can make some judgment decisions here. If we went
to the polls tomorrow to vote for President of the United States, and these were
the two candidates, and if we were committed to voting for the lesser of two evils,
I’m not anymore. But if we were, have you ever heard people say that? Oh, they
say, If I don’t vote for George Bush, William Clinton might get in. But if I don’t
vote for Hillary, somebody else is going to get in. You know, they got this, this
is the argument. They’re going to vote for a person not because they’re qualified,
not because they’re statesmen, but because they’re afraid that if they don’t cast
their vote for this certain individual, who is evil, that a greater evil will take
over. So we’re going to have a little test
Let’s let’s put the test questions on the screen now. I wrote 12.
This was for my own interest about a year ago A year and a half ago. I wrote 12
test questions I thought well if I’m going to try and understand how to get away
from voting for the lesser of two evils I need a test. I need to see something
tangible. So I started scratching them down with my ballpoint pen Which man,
now don’t answer them out loud, and you may have a different feeling, “Oh, I have
as the newspaper and the television and the magazines, I don’t have any hidden
secret way of learning their background.” But you have the same opportunity to see
their record from the newspapers and television and so on. Which man encouraged the
lesser number of illegal aliens to enter the United States? Now somehow with your
fingers on your knee or something some way try to keep track now which way you’re
voting here so did you give a score for the left man or the right man and then
we got 12 questions which man encouraged the lesser number of illegal aliens to
enter the United States which man spent the lesser amount of taxpayer dollars
unconstitutionally
which man increased the national debt the lesser amount
which man advanced the lesser amount of bloated bureaucracy during his administration
which man sent the lesser amount of American soldiers to serve as world policemen
without a congressional declaration of war
Which man told the lesser number of lies to the American people?
Which man gave the lesser support to the United Nations and the New World Order?
Which man did the lesser damage to the right to bear arms?
Which man gave the lesser amount of American military technology to foreign enemies?
Which man did the lesser meddling in our socialized government school system?
Which man appointed the lesser number of establishment insiders to high positions in
our government.
Which man encouraged the lesser number of murders of millions of unborn children?
Now, we could write more questions. That ought to give us a start, though, at
choosing the lesser of the two evils if we’re going to vote that way. Now,
I made my scores as I studied, and I didn’t write these questions to try and
lopside at one man or the other. I just started thinking, “What do I want to know
about a candidate? Where is he sending the military? Where is he?” And I started
writing the question based on trying to make it lopsided one way or the other. And
here’s how I scored them. There was one that I just didn’t know the answer. I
didn’t know who told the most lies.
I gave three scores to George W. Bush and eight to this adulterous wretch,
lying adulterous wretch and other sins I don’t know about.
So of course that is not to say that you should vote for Bill Clinton because he’s
the so -called lesser of two evils. It’s the fact that they are both a part of the
same Satanic conspiracy. Neither one of them is a lesser of two evils. They are
both moving us towards the agenda of the globalist conspiracy. And so we have to
stop seeing it as the lesser of two evils because the conspiracy media is designed
To make us think that there is a difference that there is one of them that will
do less damage than the other But as you look at the record the one that we think
is the doing the less damage is Wrong and so we’re acting based on information
based off of propaganda as Samantha went through in her nine in her nine classes
And so because of our zeal without knowledge to make sure that The more evil person
doesn’t win. We actually end up supporting evil and so it’s a vital that That we
understand how the conspiracy is operating so that we stop falling for that because
we’re gonna be listening to the you know To the radio in the car or we listen to
the the news on the television or we read something an article on a website We’re
watching a video on YouTube And it’s designed to get us to fall for the lesser of
two evils because it’s designed to get us to support the conspiracies agenda when
there is a third option, not a third candidate, meaning there’s a third option of
not supporting that system because it’s designed to get us in this way.
And so another thing that we’ve come across is when we learn something,
we’re like, look, we got to go do, we got to go out and do something. They’re,
how can we just not do something? And, um, and you’re just sitting there and you
just want to just be on your RV tower, just, just learning something. And so
there’s this, uh, this clip I put together from the movie “Carrotty Kid” that I
really think as we watch it all and watch it all lay layout helps us to see where
we’re at and the the principles that I’m trying to lay out in trainings and
hopefully to really help it sink in and and drive the point home. Walk on the

Okay, so there was a reason behind the way I presented that. Probably a lot of you
have either A seen the movie or after a couple of moments of each clip, you’re
like, “Okay, I get the point.” And that’s kind of what happened with the character
in the movie. He felt like he got the point, and he was just, he wanted to learn,
he just wanted to go fight. And that’s the same thing that happens to too many of
us as we wake up. We just want to go and do something without that basic
knowledge. And we need to build muscle memory. And that’s what we’re doing is we’re
trying to build muscle memory with these principles. And so that way we understand
that we can’t just go out and do something because we don’t have the ability to do
it correctly until we get to a certain point and as we understand these things and
we get that muscle memory in us and then we can be more effective in what we’re
doing because a) we understand the principle and b) we’re not going to get
distracted by that shiny object because Oh, we realize that shiny object is a
distraction. It is actually an attack on us, but we have to have our muscle memory
to shoot it out of the way. And so that it doesn’t affect us and get us to do
the thing that the conspiracy wants us to do. Any thoughts, comments?
– Yeah, I thought. – Yeah. – This is Samantha. So yeah, it’s the muscle memory.
So it’s having the principles so strongly ingrained in you that it’s more important
than anything. And so it could be shiny objects that might distract you,
but it also could be trusting people or some concept that’s new to you that you
haven’t analyzed yet and falling for that. I think putting your trust and being
swayed towards things that are unprincipled, you’re much less likely to do that when
you have this foundation that is solid and grounded in truth and morality and
eternal principles. So there’s a lot of danger too that can happen when you’re not,
when you don’t have that muscle memory in a solid foundation in true principles.
Yeah, thank you. Anybody else? Yeah, this is Mark. Yeah, response to what you said,
Samantha. The word I like to use is the loyalty, loyalty to the standard or loyalty
to the principle. If you’re loyal enough, you’re not going to add, but you have to,
of course, understand the principle. Well, but, you know, Pratt talked about from
citing from tragedy and hope, the illusion that there’s a difference between the
candidates or the two different parties. And what tactic the conspiracy uses,
the major tactic to bring that illusion about and avoid us from seeing that there’s
no significant difference between the two, is the idea that they’ll expose part of
the truth or that’s often watered down or a horrible one candidate is, you know, or
conservatives is the, you know, the Democrat, the liberal, the Biden, the Hillary.
But what they don’t tell you is that the other candidate is doing the same thing
over thousands and thousands of many thousands of times in my life, I’ve heard them
conservative talk radio or conservative box or someone or in and meetings,
they’ll criticize the Democrat often what they’re saying is at least partially true
or entirely true, but they don’t tell you the other guy was doing the same thing.
For one example, Trump, we’ve gone on and on about the inflation that Biden gave
us, where the amount of inflation created under Biden, Trump was twice the amount
under Biden. Where did they, they don’t tell you that. They don’t tell you that
Trump and Biden’s open border policies were almost identical.
Trump practiced catch and release, the large majority of his tenure in office.
So this is what often happens. I hear myself saying all over and over again, when
I heard the Democrat criticize, I said, the other guy was doing the same thing, but
they don’t tell you that? Well, sometimes they will when it’s like you get when
their side gets caught, they’ll be like a little kid, they’ll be like, Well, he
started it. Like he does it too. And your hypocrite, because you didn’t call him
out on it, you did and it’s designed to get this back and forth. And the major
point isn’t really just about the left versus the right, it’s about all of the
unprincipled things that the conspiracy tries to get us to do because we don’t have
the muscle memory. We want to go out and when we see a problem and the conspiracy
tells us what the solution is, we want to go do that solution because we don’t
have the muscle memory on the correct principle. And so it’s essential for us to
have the patients to not just say, “Oh, I’ve got to go do this. I’m sick and
tired of learning. I don’t want to go learn anymore. It’s boring. I get the point.
Let’s just go do it now. And it gets us to do the wrong thing, because we don’t
have the muscle memory.
And intellectual discipline, that’s what that your example there, intellectual
discipline, you jump, don’t jump to the conclusion,
you need more knowledge. And that requires maturity and election maturity.
I’m one of those guys that after one of my heroes on talk radio,
I like to fight liberals with half my brain typing on my back. It’s a situation to
where I know Trump wasn’t perfect, but getting my information at the time from talk
radio, I didn’t get the feeling that it was immigrants coming over as fast as they
did in Biden’s time. And I was working at a dairy where 99 % of the people were
from south of the border. But I didn’t see such an influx since there was before I
got laid off. – Well, and that’s in different parts of the immigration part changes
depending on the president because like you saw with Trump and what will be again
with Trump is that they will have an influx of your tech jobs from foreign
countries. And so they’ll do the ebb and flow and so that way you can focus on
one thing as opposed to recognizing How the conspiracy is behind the both sides and
both. And I want to back up what you just said. Most people know this last 50
years, most illegal immigrants that came to America came via visas,
not crossing the border, not ethnicity, nothing, no other reason.
And I don’t know, I haven’t looked at the last 10 years very closely, but I know
most years since the 1970s, it’s visas. What happens, they give, there’s all sorts
of visa, different types of visa, not H1B, several others. And what happens is that
once they get over here and their visa expires, they stay and they get lost among
the population. And under Trump, he increased visas four different times,
different visas, and that you don’t hear any of that in the media, do you? So we
we go on we look at the different parts of what happened again We look at ancient
Israel and Moses goes up the mountain and and and Israel is just thinking You know,
he’s been up there so long and we we have to do something and so what did they
do in addition to you know In engage in horrific immorality They build a different
God to worship because they weren’t willing to wait for Moses to come down and give
them instructions from God. And then we have another example of Saul and Samuel.
And we go to the book of Samuel. Samuel tells Saul, “And thou shalt go down before
me to Gilgal. And behold, I will come down unto thee to offer burnt offerings and
to sacrifice sacrifices of peace offerings. Seven days shalt thou tarry till I come
to thee and show thee what thou shalt do.” So he gave him specific instructions,
you know what to do, but also before you do those things you have to do what?
Right yet to wait until I come and He tarried seven days according to the set time
that Samuel had appointed But Samuel came not to Gilgall and the people were
scattered from him So he didn’t wait and then in Saul said bring hither a burn
offering to me in peace offerings and he offered the burnt offering. So he felt
that, oh, I know what he wants me to do. And so I’m gonna go do it, even though
he hasn’t come back yet. But that’s what he told me to do was to wait for him to
come back. But I know what he wants me to do. I get the point. So I’m just gonna
go do it ’cause I get the point. I don’t need to wait for him to do the thing
that I already know what needs to be done. And it came to pass that as soon as
he had made an end of offering The burnt offering behold Samuel came and Saul went
out to meet him that he might salute him and Samuel said what house thou done and
Saul said because I saw that the people were scattered from me and That thou
came’st not within the days appointed and that the Philistines gathered themselves
together at my Make McMash Therefore said I the Philistines will come down now upon
me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication unto the Lord. I forced myself,
therefore, and offered a burnt offering. And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done
foolishly. Thou hast not kept the commandment of the Lord thy God, which he
commanded thee. For now would the Lord have established thy kingdom upon Israel
forever. But now thy kingdom shall not continue. The Lord hath sought him a man
after his own heart, and the Lord had commanded him to be a captain over his
people, because thou hast not kept that which the Lord commanded thee.” And so,
you know, you have Saul feeling like, “Hey, we’ve got these other things happening,
and we’ve got to make sure that the people don’t disperse, and it’s going to cause
problems if I don’t just do this right now.” And Samuel is like, you know, Now,
because you didn’t follow these instructions, you weren’t patient, you just went off
and did something because you felt you got the point that now the Lord cannot trust
you. And because he can’t trust you, your reign here is done and another kingdom is
going to have to be set up. Can you imagine the anguish that Saul must have felt
at this, that if he had just been more patient and trusted in the Lord to to
follow the instructions and Not felt that he got the point and went off and did
something. What what could have happened if he had gone with that? And we look at
Alma a righteous example of zeal with knowledge and Amma did preach unto the people
of King Limoni And it came to pass that he did teach them all things concerning
things pertaining to righteousness And he did exhort them daily with all diligence,
and they gave heed unto his word, and they were zealous for keeping the commandments
of God. So they received instruction, and they were diligent in learning,
right? They exhorted them daily and with diligence, and they gave heed, once they
received instruction, they gave heed to that instruction and they were zealous in
that because they received the instruction and obeyed that which they had received.
That is zealousness with knowledge which is a righteous zeal.
And so we need to remember that we will be tempted with these shiny objects but
it’s vital that we keep on the task at hand, that we get the muscle memory, that
we get the principles and so that we do not get distracted. We think we get the
point, we think we can move forward, and we do the wrong thing like we saw with
Saul. Intelligence is a vital part. Intelligence isn’t just knowledge, it is,
you have wisdom with that knowledge. And so that staying on the ball, staying on
track is building your understanding, help build others’ understanding, expose evil,
disobey evil, destroy evil, and build a people that are independent of the evil that
exists around us. If we can focus our muscle memory on this, it will be the more
that we practice that muscle, we build that muscle, the harder it will be for us
to be distracted, the harder it will be for Satan to trick us into thinking that
we got the point and that we can act before it is time to act. And so I hope
that we will instill in ourselves a patience, a wisdom and a desire to keep our
eye on the ball and so that we are not distracted and that we don’t lose that
patience.
So with that, let’s go ahead and finish up our train night.

and to do them in a way that is pleasing to be and in a way that is correct and
principled and moral. We’re so grateful for the truth that we’re able to gain each
day as we draw near to thee and through thy spirit please help us to continue to
do that to be wise for our family’s sakes and for our communities and for the
kingdom of God help us to promote liberty and be fearless and brave and willing to
stand for truth wherever we are as needed and to be willing to live for liberty
and give our lives for liberty. We’re so grateful for all those that are willing to
understand and promote these principles. Please help us to articulate them and change
the culture around us and to better be fit for for thy kingdom.
