So we face the worldwide conspiracy.
So again, why do we talk about conspiracy at all?
It’s very, very important that we understand this principle.
Brigham Young said that we should not only study good and its effects upon our race, but also evil and its consequences.
We have to understand both for the reasons that I just discussed.
And also in the Doctrine and Covenants, we learned that therefore we should waste and wear out our lives, bringing to light all the hidden things of darkness, wherein we know them.
These should then be attended to with great earnestness.
We need to be earnest in our efforts to expose this conspiracy.
We need to wear out our lives to expose this conspiracy.
If we don’t understand that, then if we don’t wear our lives, if we don’t work hard to do that, then we’re going to be in a tough situation.
This thing’s going to continue to get bigger and bigger.
Moroni also talked about this.
He says, “I’m telling you about the conspiracy that evil may be done away with and that Satan may have no power upon the hearts of the children of men.”
Knowing about the conspiracy doesn’t feed it, doesn’t give it more power.
It helps to stop it just for the reasons that I mentioned a second ago.
The more we understand it, the less influence it will have on us, the less power it will have over us, and the better equipped we will be to stand up for truth and right and not to succumb to the natural compromises that are used to get us to embrace evil.
