we’re so grateful to gather together to discuss and defend principles of liberty. So grateful for our Savior Jesus Christ and the cause of liberty which he defended in the pre -existence and very grateful to be his disciples here on earth.
spiritually and politically. We pray that the Holy Spirit will be with us, that we will speak with the tongue of angels, that we will be inspired to take action and to actually strive to dismantle the powers that shouldn’t be in Babylon.
And we sincerely pray that the kingdom of God on Earth will be once again established and will increase until it fills the whole earth and may Jesus come soon and be its king and in the name of Jesus Christ,

2024, the opening pair was offered by Carmen. Carmen Turner. Minutes were given by Carmen Turner. Ben talked about four to eight weeks away.
Oh, Ben, I’ve got to put down before I forget. Eleor? Is that his name?
Okay. Okay. All right. Um, four to eight weeks away, um, there will be,
uh, training on, I guess, elections. Is that, did I get though, it’s something is four to eight weeks away. We’re going to be doing a,
one of our public events, one of our speaking engagements. Okay. Okay. He finished the audio. book and there’s other books in the future that are coming out. Let me see.
The donations were listed at 1450. He asked us to contribute, share links and do the new video.
He said very few members are members, very few are members who are are accessing the videos. Just about all of the people who are accessing the videos are not members of Tree of Liberty.
For the training that night, last Monday night, he’s going to do it in three parts. The first one is independence and a better society. It’s important.
to see the bigger picture. Talked about Orson Spencer of the Justice Smith Papers website. Illinois Governor Ford talked about him,
talked about the new nation of Deseret and the illegal treaty of Godot, Guadalupe Hidalgo in 1848.
1848, Bergman said that they wanted to abolish the colonial government that started with the British throne.
We form an independent state with Union, talked about William God being the evil philosophy and what he worked to get the members to reject scriptures, commented on the Mormon reformation of it.
Bobby spoke up and says that he’s trying to distance himself from the evil powers and he says baby steps have the most impact.
I thought that that was a really good advice. advice. Do it. Baby steps. Ben said we learned from the past,
talked about how Vice President Colfex came to Utah. He resolved to overthrow Brigham Young. Salt Lake Triv,
the newspaper, built support to become a state. He said they attacked from within. Thank you. will make people free as fast as the people are ready,
talked about the pincer strategy, Alan Arthur talked about history books leave a hole and leave impressions of not following leaders. He did ask Ben,
how did he get his knowledge and then enumerated different books, pieces, and books. here and there, pulling things together. A lot of stuff made sense,
references. One reference led to another. It was like a treasure map. He asked questions to more knowledgeable people. Alan Arthur said,
“Get the double check things.” And he said that all of Ben’s talks about is there. Thank you. Ben again commented about seeing the big picture.
It helps debunk modernist construction of history. Reed Smoot hearings, he commented on that. Oh, Reed Smoot was questioned.
One of the questions was would the youth of the church change? So it was during the Reed Smoot hearings, but it was actually Frank Cannon that was in the discussion with the senator.
Oh, OK, because then he was asked then, would the youth of the church change the creed of the church? And Reed Smoot answered, maybe.
Maybe. Again, not not read. Frank Cannon. Frank Cannon at the Reed -Smoot hearings. So it makes sense why it’s confusing. But just to clarify,
it wasn’t Reed -Smoot that said that it was Frank Cannon at the Reed -Smoot hearings. At the Reed -Smoot hearings. Okay, got it. Eleanor Arthur, he he said mentioned that Frank Cannon considered Brigham Young a tired tyrant.
And he was a liaison to get people to go along with the Godbees. Hyper -J Grant, all was secular with him.
He got more spiritual as time went on. He brought in secularism. Kate Jenkins, she inquired as what was the story of the castrated governor?

Give everybody an update on our fundraising that we’re doing here. Oops, let me go back. back. And so we’ve been able to raise a little bit more this week. And so we’re almost halfway there.
Appreciate everybody’s help. That’s been able to contribute so far. If you haven’t been able to and like to invite you again, does anything that you can help out with would be greatly appreciated to help us with this program of trying to get out to the national programs and to be able to get materials at the conventions that we are invited to.

but just like to give everybody update to see, yeah, we are making progress and moving along. So, glad about that. So, I remember last week we covered the topic of independence and building a better society,
building Zion and the idea of independence. And we have in our boot camp, we have several classes on independence and separation, and that is a part of the solution.
And I’ve given other trainings on this, but a member, and so I encourage you to do the same thing. What we’re doing last week and tonight and next week are all because of a request from one of the members.
That’s not on tonight. This individual doesn’t come on to the trainings live, but they watch afterwards. And so anything that you guys are like,
man, it would be good to be helpful if we did something like this. So I want to encourage you and invite you to make any requests for a training that you think would be helpful for you or for anybody else.
That’s a member. And so and as I went into it, when he requested, I was like, yeah, we can do that. I was like, I think I can finish this in a night. And as I’ve gone through it,
it’s been like, oh, maybe not a night, maybe two weeks, maybe three weeks. And as we continue on it, you know, I hope it doesn’t go to four, but it could go to four as things go on because as I get feedback and responses,
I feel like that there are certain things that additional data that would be very helpful, right? Because as you can do a, you know, which I like to do, my thing is right,
is just the high altitude of, you know, the high view of things of this is what we tried to do. The government did bad things and we had people within that didn’t wanna go along with it.
And because, of that, you know, the Lord took away certain things from us. And so, you know, and that’s the end, right? And so that’s how much more data do you need?
That’s what happened. But at the same time, as you go over more data, that overview makes more sense. And sometimes things that didn’t click will click as we get more data,
right? right? That makes sense. And so it’s always good. I’ve heard during the call on other trainings that we’ve done individuals saying, you know, we’ve gone over this before, but because,
you know, it was said this way tonight, you know, things that I didn’t understand fully before, like I thought they understood it, but we did it this way and it clicked and it made a whole, you know, open up a whole new picture for me.
And so it’s something that I want to make sure that we have as much of the without going into the weeds without, you know, going into minutiae that’s not necessary,
give as big and as clear as a picture as we can. So that will hopefully, you know, help us to be motivated. And this was, this is the response that I like to get.
So I got some feedback from another member that doesn’t come on the live call. Texting me and said I really needed this. I love the part about the the percentage of dependency they were in.
They were so close and yet so far. I’m not even sure I can quantify my dependency. I really appreciate the part about the boundaries going unopposed.
I feel like I need to repent and commit to no longer building or voting to build Babylon after that training. We might just start building Zion. So I thought that was really cool to see.
hear that there were things that clicked and that the additional information was helpful to getting the big picture and, you know, of if we’re not seeing ways that we can change and improve,
then we’re just going to continue on with the status quo and that, you know, and I would say that all, you know, I don’t think this should be too much of a stretch, all of us, and I include myself in that,
of course. have ways to improve in ways that we can apply these things in a more complete and better way. And so if there are ways that we can present it that will help us to help have these principles click in our minds that we can say,
oh, okay, that’s what it means. And then give us a better understanding of what it means will then help us to be able to analyze our own lives and say, okay, this is what I can do.
these small baby steps that was mentioned in the minutes of, this is what I can do right now to get closer to that, and then the Lord will open up a way to be able to do better in the future.
And so it’s great to be able to get feedback from you. So in addition to requests for training topics, feedback, things that say, oh, this is what was helpful or this didn’t make quite as much sense.
Can you clarify this in any kind of feedback is always helpful. So just kind of a heads up along those lines. Any thoughts or anybody want to have any comments right now before we move on?
All right, can I say something? Yeah, go ahead. Just said, those baby steps. This is Eleor. Elior. No, you’re good. In my experience,
when you start taking the baby steps, the Lord gives you those greater opportunities down the road, because my wife and I, we don’t have any land or anything. So if you literally have nothing,
I found that using what you do have, you know, empowers the Lord to help you eventually become more and more self -sufficient. So I think it’s like the talent. You use your talent wisely and the Lord gives you more.
Exactly. Thank you. Yeah, that’s really important to understand. We don’t want to bury it. We want to expand it and have the faith and try to magnify what we have, no matter how small it is.
So as a part of this, I wanted to kind of recap recap the topic of the kingdom of God and where this comes from and it really stems from the vision given to Daniel that we read about in Daniel chapter two.
And again, this is a recap of what leads up to these verses is that, you know, Daniel is in prison and he’s known amongst the prisoners and other servants that he can interpret dreams.
dreams. And King Nebuchadnezzar in Babylon is having these dreams that he can’t remember and he doesn’t know what their interpretation is and none of his priests can interpret them or know what they are.
And Daniel, people remember it and say, “Hey, you know, King Nebuchadnezzar, Daniel might be able to help you out.” And so he summons Daniel and Daniel comes. and says that tells him interpret tells him what the dream is first.
He says, “Thou sawest till that a stone was cut without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay and break them to pieces.” So in the dream,
he saw this statue basically that was made up of different types of materials and the stone stone smote the image that was made up of these different materials and broke the image to pieces.
Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver and the gold broken to pieces together and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors and the wind carried them away that no place was found for them and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.
earth. Okay. So then it goes on in those scriptures and those the following verses describes that the iron, the clay, the brass,
the silver and the gold were representations of different nations leading up to the last days. The major powers in the earth during different periods of time of the world.
And so these these iron, clay, brass, brass, all these different nations are made up. They’re all like the major powers of the earth today are made up basically of civilizations that came before.
And so that’s why it builds the statue and that the stone builds the whole earth and breaks the breaks the nations of the earth or makes, you know,
those other elements. elements for as much as thou saw us that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands and that it break in pieces the iron the brass the clay the silver and the gold okay so this stone and it’s of course been in we understand that the stone is God’s kingdom I didn’t want to have to go through the whole the whole section but it’s it is the kingdom of God it’s a political organization
and it goes and it fills the whole earth as a stone and it breaks the nations of the earth. The kingdom of God is the destroyer of the kingdoms of this world.
It’s not earthquakes, plagues, you know, those probably help and can be called down out of heaven. But it is this political organization called the kingdom of God that will destroy the kingdoms of the earth.
world. And so the prophet Joseph Smith explained that a glorious dominion of universal liberty, peace and plenty that the Kingdom of God is. It is an organization of that government of which there shall be no end of that kingdom of Messiah which shall roll forth from conquering and to conquer conquering and to conquer.
And so it’s you know it’s it’s not something that’s passive. It’s not something that just happens It’s not just like we’ve I’ve talked about before of you know quoting from the Prophet Joseph as well as Daniel in the Old Testament saying that the Saints are going to have to take the kingdom It’s you’re you’re conquering and you’re and you conquer It’s not something that you’re just like oh,
it’s this thing that’s falling. It’s rolling down a mountain and it just happens on its own Because you know the Lord is doing these things things, you know, and we’re just here to watch. No,
we are we are to go forth as conquerors to conquer. And so speaking of this vision we see in Daniel. Brigham Young says the dream of King Nebuchadnezzar and its interpretation by Daniel are as plain to the man and woman filled with the power of the Holy Ghost as are the most common lessons to the school children.
They most… clearly understand the interpretation. So he’s saying that it’s not rocket science to figure out what this vision is and talking about.
The Kingdom of Heaven is here and we are in it and they are angry at us solely for that. And so there was a lot of different things that the world would use against the saints.
saints as the reasons behind the attacks and the persecutions. And we see this in ancient Israel, we see this in the ancient Christian saints,
and we see it throughout time, is that when the kingdom of God is built, the nations of Satan on the earth are, of course, angry and thrashing. And so they use other straw man or bogeyman arguments against the saints.
saints, but the real threat to them and the real thing that they’re really upset about is the fact that the kingdom of God is being built. And of course, Satan as the would -be God of this world does not like his dominion being threatened.
Any comments, questions so far? Okay,
so the kingdom of God is a political government. It destroys the unauthorized nations and it protects everyone’s rights, will be mighty and will be feared by the wicked.
These are things that, you know, I didn’t cover tonight specifically, but have been covered in the boot camp at least. And so let me go back. So these are the things that we need to understand about the political kingdom of God So we have here James Buchanan member of the Bohemian Club Bohemian Grove and he says this is the first rebellion which has existed in our territories and Humanity itself requires that we should
put it down in such a manner that it shall be our last We ought to go there was such an imposing force as to convince these deluded people that resistance would be in vain.
That was as his inaugural address. So he just gets elected to be president and he’s like, oh my goodness, these Mormons, not even, you know, in this place that they established and that we invaded,
they don’t like us as invaders. And so they’re “rebelling.” And so we have to put it down to make sure that this never happened.
again. We’re going to, and with such force, that we’re going to convince these deluded people, just looking down upon them, and that we just need to go there with such a bloody force as to make sure that they never even think about doing it,
and that even the idea of doing it would be ridiculous. And so we need to go in there and just rip in the shreds, basically. And this continued on. on. We had one of the other imposed governors on the people of Deseret,
Eli Murray, talking about in his report back to Washington how important it was that the people of Deseret were understanding that they cannot continue to do what they’re doing,
that they must submit to Satan’s government. Peace. He said that if the Mormons continue to promote liberty in the kingdom of God The sword will be invoked to subdue them Either the church will have to surrender or the government will I’d love your comments on this as well So we have just two examples and there’s been many other examples.
We went over Vice president Colfax is coming in and wanting to do a second invasion of Utah And we have this governor here and we have the president President of the United States Buchanan saying that we need to use violence against these people and they understood.
Right? I think that’s something that maybe we fail to understand the gravity of the situation that our enemy doesn’t fail to grasp. They do understand it and they understand that it is us or them.
The church is going to have to surrender or the government will. God is either going to have to surrender. the people of God are going to have to surrender, or Satan’s kingdom will. And the sooner then,
the better that we understand that and grasp that and internalize that. I think the stronger we will be and the more steps that we will have the courage to take to rebuild what has been lost if we understand that this is really where it’s at.
This is. Christ versus Satan and that one side is surrendering and When one side surrenders of course that means the other side is winning So where do we see ourselves if we are surrendering to a force because we are afraid of what it will do to us or what it is doing to us And so we need to surrender to them to avoid that What is really going on?
I think he really says that he’s like you guys are if you guys? keep on promoting this kingdom of God stuff We’re gonna use violence to get you down because it’s only it’s us or them comments thoughts questions or a whore and sheds neither one of them could Walk away from a fight And that would be the same kind of fight that would be between the gods and the kingdom of God.
Neither one would give up. Oh, you mean, was it, not core horror, core antemur, right? Core antemur. I’m sorry. And she has,
right? When he gets his head chopped off? Yeah. The last two. So, that fight that Murray’s talking about would not end good. – It would,
well, I mean, but it comes to that point eventually either way. And I would almost say the sooner the better because Satan’s kingdom has to be subdued and that’s what the stone crushing the other nations,
the kingdom of God crushing the other nations is. And so right now, unfortunately, right? We’re the woman in Revelations 12 is the woman in Revelations 12. in bondage to the world because we’ve gotten into some of the reasoning,
we’ll get into some more of the reasoning tonight, but basically because of the weakness of the saints. And so they are declaring war on God’s kingdom.
We can see that. They said that. This was a war on the people of Utah. The sword is gonna be invoked to subdue them. They’ve declared war. We don’t understand that they’ve declared war on us.
And so we continue to be passive. And we continue to think that, oh, we’re gonna write a letter. We’re gonna vote somebody out of office. We’re gonna, if you’re at war with somebody, is the person at war with you going to let you choose someone else as your leader or your ruler that would allow you to have your liberty.
I think the answer to that is self -evident. And so they declared war on us. And getting into the organizations that are part of that war, you have the Loyal League. The objects of the Utah Loyal League are to combine the loyal people of Utah,
male and female, irrespective of politics, some loyal people of Utah. What they mean are the people that are against the kingdom of God, the people that are working to destroy the kingdom of God. the Kingdom of God,
irrespective of politics in opposition to the political rule and laudifying practices of the so -called Mormon Church, okay, political rule. So the Kingdom of God in opposition to the Kingdom of God to oppose the admission.
So their efforts are to oppose the admission of Utah into the Union until she has the substance as well as the force of Republican government,
meaning they have to adopt our tyrannical anti -constitution government to raise money to maintain agents in Washington or elsewhere to labor for these ends.
So there they are working together to raise money and to shift the culture to make sure that Utah is not adopted as an independent state until.
until they are in line and obedient to the corrupt anti -constitution practices of the United States at that point in time and to oppose the kingdom of God at all costs and use their resources to do so.
At this time, the Loyal League was formed and a branch was organized in Park City. The purpose of the Loyal League was to eradicate by peaceable means the law force,
the doctrine of the Mormons. So that’s really what it breaks down to is the kingdom of God, the doctrines of the Mormons. They wanted to, you know, if they could, they wanted to eradicate it.
They wanted to destroy what it was that we were doing and that what we were building, because of course, Satan’s kingdom thrashes and is wailing and gnashing and doesn’t want to go along with it.
with those things. And so another organization, same individuals involved in both organizations, but different name was called,
of course, the Gentile League. And undercover of arming and organizing for protection, the secret society known as the Gentile League of Utah was formed. Within its program,
if statements from its own side, maybe relied upon, was the delay. deliberate massacre of municipal officers and citizens. Such a purpose, it was said, was really conceived and only awaited an opportunity for its execution.
At a meeting on East Temple Street in front of Salt Lake House, Judge William Hayden declared that if the populace interrupted the liberal program, the streets of Salt Lake would be seen running.
running down with blood. So if their program, they call it the liberal program, their their political party was called the liberal party was what they’re talking about. And that was the political organization,
the political party that was working to destroy the kingdom of God and to make sure that the goal of destroying the kingdom of God and the doctrines of the Mormons was was eradicated.
So we see over and over again, right? You see the governor again, he said that we need to make sure that we go in there with such force that they don’t go against us. The sword will be invoked to subdue them.
Blood will be the force of government to destroy Mormonism. Here we have the massacre of municipal officers, the streets running down.
with blood. It is a consistent rhetoric, consistent pattern, consistent actions of violence against anyone that promotes the kingdom of God.
If we’re being led by prophet seers and revelators, didn’t they see this coming? Didn’t they see this coming? weren’t they willing to fight?
Yes. So that’s, and I’ll be getting into, and I got into that before, right? A little bit last week where I talked about where we showed the letters of people that were writing to the the church leaders that were complaining about them,
calling them divisive because they were standing up against the government, even though most members didn’t want them to. And so, yes, absolutely, they were being warned about these things.
And those kind of letters, I’ll bet Frank Kannon had a whole bunch to do with writing them. He probably was helpful and encouraged and or might have orchestrated some of them.
I wouldn’t doubt it myself. But yeah, and so they warned about it. And there was a lot of different clean, you know, cleaning house, trying to take care of that type of stuff. I talked about the excommunication of William Godby last week and things that were going on and the fact that they were cleaning house at the school of the prophets and that they actually discontinued the practice of the sacrament for several
months and so they were doing a lot of different things to warn the people and to have a reformation to bring them in line so that way we would have the power and the spirit to be able to withstand this obviously bloodthirsty satanic force that was seeking the destruction of God’s kingdom in the political sense of the word.
And so they were, you know, this is, I’d like to get some thoughts on what everybody’s, you know, this consistent message of violence and bloodshed. against the kingdom of God.
Any thoughts, comments, questions? One thing that I can think of is that a lot of this can become a self -fulfilling prophecy. And at some point in time,
what they’re afraid of is going to happen. The question is when and what will the circumstances be at the time that it does occur? It’s not hard when you look around the world.
listen to what people talk about privately. Like when I go into restaurants and stores and stuff, I listen to what people are saying and people are slowly but surely getting angrier and angrier and angrier and more and more people are turning off the media because they don’t trust it.
I listen to some people today say that they haven’t watched the news in a couple of months because they’re beginning to see that it’s full of lies. lies and propaganda and then even in this governor’s race one guy that I listened to for about a half an hour while I was waiting to get towed home was saying he says you know the governor of Utah doesn’t seem like he cares about the people of the state because look at
what he does and that and I talked to him a little bit about the Alta Club and some of those organizations and he was sitting here on his phone looking at me says you’re kidding me this is real I’m like it’s very real and it’s very dangerous and so one of the things that I really fear is that the day will come when it will be a self -fulfilling prophecy.
I just hope that we as a people in our group and group similar to this are prepared for that day because right now I don’t see very many people ready but they are beginning to get angry and that’s like I said,
it’s moving that direction very quickly. I just wonder what it’s going to take just come over the edge and make them realize that it’s time for a fight. Whatever that fight is,
whether it’s like you’ve talked about before, there are ways that we can do it. I don’t know if rational minds will be there at that time to do it that way,
which would be the most sufficient way, but it’s gonna be interesting to see what’s next for five years’ brain. – Thank you, Bobby. Yeah, it’ll be unfortunate if it,
if people, and I think that the conspiracy does use that sometimes gets people riled up to squash, for the very purpose of squashing rebellions, because they know that people are upset,
and so they, get people riled up and they you have people that are immoral or people that are uninformed people that don’t understand the principles or who you know or you know who’s their friend and who’s their enemy and end up you know like we talked about in the false opposition presentation with either Gandhi or with the you know the what was that trust the plant the operation trust in Russia,
where you had people following false opposition that was organized by the conspiracy to make sure that the people that wanted the, you know, what was right were taken off the path.
And so that’s why it’s so important that, you know, any opposition would be, you know, you have to have morality, you have to have the spirit of the Lord with you. So you have his protection and his guidance. guidance. Anybody else comment,
question? Just, this is Eleor. Yeah. The lengths to which the conspiracy went to destroy the kingdom of God is very angering.
I remember when I was first discovering this history, my mind was blown, and like how they didn’t actually care about polygamy from a moral standpoint, because they’re all. all immoral,
they’re all wicked, but they wanted the American people to be riled up against the latter. They say, you know, just the whole thing is insane, man. It always blows my mind. When I study the history of conspiracy since the very beginning with Cain,
it just blows my mind every time and it shouldn’t, but I just wish I just wonder why people are so wicked and so in love with darkness, you know? yeah and it’s the same tactics over and over again and that’s why it’s so important for us to understand that so that way we don’t get lulled into a false sense of security that we can do this you know in a way that’s not going to work hey ben yeah yeah this is sam
uh so yeah that brings in up an interesting point that it’s anything that makes a people of of God peculiar that Satan will rile up,
you know, his minions and his armies against, right? So those principles which actually give us the most power and blessing from God are those things that they fear the most.
So I think it’s a really good exercise is to go through history and look at what things make a people righteous. Yes. start Bucking up the courage to do those things personally and as a people So that we can’t have the Lord’s blessing because those things that make us peculiar and different That kind of puts a target on our back It’s scary but are the very things that will allow us to be protected by the Lord and
And and I can’t help every time you you go through this history. I can’t help but think that unless we want to make the same mistakes,
we have an opportunity here to finish what was started, right? We had some really wonderful righteous men and women who supported them and families,
right? We’re willing to sacrifice to build the kingdom of God and and that seed was started and and we can make it grow but it will take courage and sacrifice and a willingness to be peculiar to stick our necks out and to have the spirit of God have revelation on how to do that wisely so we’re not bumbling around making obvious dumb mistakes and that we’re learning from history,
right? Yep. Yep. So there’s definitely wisdom in how we do this Battles that we don’t need to take on right like voting harder and you know Fighting about all this this election was rigged like there’s certain things that are just bad issues Like those aren’t it any and I think that’s a use it United States issue,
right? Like things about preserving the United States like that’s gone man like move on on We’re yeah, let it go. We are focused our way forward is the kingdom of God It is the way to to solve all the problems we have in the world And so so many people are just sort of and good people that love liberty are kind of default back into wanting to vote harder and Support this idea that idea which is in a system.
That’s that’s rigged and broken So really focusing all our heart, mind, and soul on God and His kingdom is the way forward.
I just can’t see any other way through. And so back to what the conspiracy was willing to do in using plural marriage.
It wasn’t just because that’s a weird Mormon thing that they did. It was that was a law of God that brought great blessings and power and we have to embrace those,
those higher laws. We have to be willing to live the lower laws and go the next level and this time be willing as a people to step up because they weren’t before,
but we have an opportunity to do it right this time. Thank you, yeah that was really important for us to understand that and it really goes back to what I was talking about with the Reformation and that’s you know giving us some specifics to help us to that you know the things that they were doing of repenting of their sins and what were they not doing that they were supposed to and being more dedicated towards
following what it was that the Lord had revealed that they were supposed to be doing and so understanding those things that make us peculiar, that obeying gives us the spirit that we’re going to need to be able to continue on those next steps.
So I think it’s really important. Thank you. So as we move on, we have another individual that was, this guy was a member of the church, he was a cohort with William Godby.
Thomas Stanton. He was somebody that was a member of the church that was fighting against all of those things, the marriage system, United Order,
political kingdom of God, all the things that made us unique and that the kingdoms of the devil were fighting against. He was teaming up with Godby as a member to rot the creature within.
And so. so he was also he also met with Shuler Colfax, the vice president of the United States when he came in along with Godby. And and these are some of the notes that that he says for God’s sake,
Mr. Colfax exclaims Steinstein House, keep the United States off. So don’t do the invasion. It gets into the the points that I brought out before of saying that if you guys come against this.
saints, that’s going to kill everything. We’re all going to everybody. And he’s like, even I will be forced to stand with Brigham Young. He’s like, I hate Brigham Young. I hate everything stands for. But if you guys invade,
I’m going to have to stand up and you’re going to get everybody else to stand up and defend him. So so keep the US off. If the government interferes and sends troops, you will spoil the opportunity and drive the thousands back into the arms of of Brigham Young,
who are ready to rebel against the one man power. So he’s like, we are working. We are getting people in the church to rebel against everything that is being done. That should tell you right there of you know,
what kind of people these are on both sides. Why are these evil people wanting to get rid of Brigham Young? And what is it that is being done is trying to be built and is being preached at this point in time that makes you know the kingdoms of the devil so angry and so recognizing that and so this tells you another thing as well is that yes their goal from within it’s always the the wolves and sheeps clothing the
enemy within that is the bigger threat that we have this these people that are working to rebel within the church,
church members working to rebel against the leaders that God had appointed. And we can see what it is that, you know, how we start to see this.
And so that way, when we see history repeat itself, what are the principles that Satan is rehashing and Satan is wanting to make sure able to make sure that we’re able to make sure that we’re able to make sure that we’re able to make we stay away from and we can see why that is because it gives us the power that we are going to need,
that we saw being magnified during the Mormon Reformation where you saw an increase of the Spirit, you saw an increase of the manifestations of the fruits of the Spirit with healings,
visitations of angels and all those types of things that were making it so that they could be an actual threat against this outside power. And so,
and this wasn’t just at this point in time, we saw this during Joseph’s time and it was always from within. So going back to the DNC, section 105, the Lord says,
“Behold, I say unto you, “were it not for the transgressions of my people, “speaking concerning the church and not individuals, “they might have been redeemed even more.” now. So he’s like,
as an organization, as a whole, as individuals, as a group of people, you would have already been redeemed, meaning design would have been established already. We’re not waiting for the Lord to return.
You know, you could have already done this if we’re not for your transgressions. But behold, they have not learned to be obedient to the things which I required at their hands,
but are full of all manner of of evil and do not impart of their substance and as becomeeth saints to the poor and afflicted among them, and are not united according to the union required by the law of the celestial kingdom,
and Zion cannot be built up unless it is by the principles of the law of the celestial kingdom, otherwise I cannot receive her unto myself. And so this gives us the beginning point of where to study like,
what are these principles of the celestial kingdom? How can I go through the scriptures and find out in the revelations that maybe aren’t even canonized, that we can search and study and find out what are these laws that we cannot be unified with and we can’t have redemption,
you know, that Zion cannot be redeemed in that specific context. until we are living the laws of the celestial kingdom. And so these are the things that even at this point in the 1830s that could have been if the saints hadn’t transgressed against those things,
hadn’t fought against those things. And so we see this again in the 1850s. Brigham Young says Jesus said that a man would give all that he had for his life.
life and in our day There is a great many who will do almost anything to preserve their natural lives To accomplish this they will bow down to the whims and sayings of Designing men of the priests of the day and to the laws and customs of individuals The wicked can see no further than this world is concerned And so this is a you know a major problem part of the situation is that we have an immorality,
we have a morality problem. And when I say immorality problem, I’m not meaning like when we think of morality, a lot of times we think of sexual promiscuity.
But we see here is the immorality of courage, of the immorality of putting, you know, our own comfort and ease and avoid it. persecution and wanting to preserve our life.
He says a wicked man can see no further than this world is concerned. We’re not looking at the long run. We’re not looking at the big picture. And so because of that, we succumb to the pressures of the world.
And that is a form of immorality. And George A. Smith explained, I used to suppose that all that was necessary was to convince the the children of men that anything that was presented was right,
that anything that was presented was right, and I thought that all men naturally had a disposition to receive anything and to accede to anything that was right.” So he’s saying that he’s like,
I thought most people, if they were shown and understood something that was true, that they would accept it and they would abide by it. That’s what I thought.
But I learned from the observations I made that the right of the case was about the last thing to be considered. He’s like, whether it’s true or not was the last thing people were considering.
And that justice, truth, or righteousness of the subject is the last thing to be brought under consideration. The question to be considered is, is there any money in it?
Or is there? a chance to make any? Oops, let me go back. Let’s see here. So he thought, you know, he’s like, I was naive. I thought everybody was just want to do the right thing.
And if they were presented with that, they would do it. But he said no, that it was their own self interest, whether it was money, or with their life, or their comfort, avoiding persecution,
etc. That’s what was really the question that he noted. that was on most people’s minds. And then Brigham Young explained, he says, “If this people had invariably been careful to observe counsel,
they would have promoted the kingdom of heaven a great deal faster than they have.” So they would have been, if they were careful and that they were diligent in what they’ve been told and the kingdom of God would be on the forefront,
the kingdom of God or nothing. Suppose that that money had been, meaning, so let me give you some more context, that that money, that their earnings, that they were built with the labor for Zion or were they building for laboring for riches.
The money that they earned had been put into the hands of those the Lord established and used for the benefit of the kingdom of God. Would it not have been much better than to pay it to the merchants to carry it out of the territory?
So So all of their money, all of their resources, all the things the labor that they were laboring for was being sent to build gentile nations, it was being built, it was helping to build their enemies and the resources of their enemies and deplete their resources and deplete the kingdom of God.
No, their eyes were dim and they could not see their own interest. They were very short, short term, you know, they were short term. as George Albert Smith was talking about,
that they were just looking for the immediate benefit and not looking for the long term, and that if they had instead said, “Okay, I’m going to have a little bit of sacrifice now,” whether that’s parting of my resources,
a little bit of sacrifice now with persecution, a little bit of sacrifice now of an uncomfortable life, it’s an investment into the future that will make sure that we’re starving our enemies and that the Kingdom of God is through our sacrifice and through our morality is able to be progressed and to be able to be expanded.
He says, “If the people had consecrated their means during the nine years past, they would now have been worth a million where they have only thousands of lives.” So he continues on,
he’s explaining that if they had thought more long term that they thought they would be sacrificing riches, but in fact that the riches would have been multiplied to them if they were focusing on taking care of others and making sure that God’s kingdom was being built ahead of their own.
But no, the people would pay their money to others to carry out of the country. meaning Deseret was the country. So, let’s see here,
we got just a couple of handful of minutes. And so, hopefully, right, as we’re going to continue on, next we can kind of wrap up these ideas,
but we can start to see a pattern where we can see that what is being read, is truth and something that God wants because Satan’s kingdom is doing everything that it can to attack it.
And then as that attack happens, the people that were working on those things receive the persecutions from without.
And then you had the wolves and sheep’s clothing from within. casting doubt saying oh that can’t be done that’s too much of a sacrifice wouldn’t it be better if we were just to get along with them if they’re not fighting us then we can maybe work you know we will be even more effective if they’re not fighting against us and so they they find different arguments to be able to get people that were doing the right
thing to now be less valiant and more relaxed and then even start a rebellion from within against those things that against the things that are a threat to Satan.
And so now this powerful people that were a threat to Satan without even realizing what happened became people that were subservient to you and that spend their their days working to build up Satan’s kingdom without even realizing it.
And so if we see that pattern, we can recognize that pattern in the future as we are working to reverse course, we will recognize those attacks and make sure that we stand strong in living and obeying correct principles and not falling for those voices out there that are saying,
“Here is a life of ease. Here is a life of ease.” that avoids persecution. Here’s a life that will provide you with the riches of this world.” And what does that lead to?
So just with a couple minutes left, comments or questions that will help this make more sense or, you know, clarify anything that might be unclear. Anyone?
– Anyone? – Yeah, I had a thought, another thought. So I think something that is disappointing when you start to really get into liberty and start to recognize secret combinations and recognize how many people are oblivious and lukewarm and kind of onboard with it,
even if they’re not, you know, know, knowledgeable about what what is going on. It’s, it’s kind of disappointing when you look at the numbers,
right? Yeah. And I think people, because of democracy and voting and all these things, we tend to really rely on numbers to help us.
Like we really, it feels really nice when we have 51%, you know. or more than that, right? You know, like a super majority and our whole lives were kind of kind of brainwashed to have that kind of thinking and even with common consent,
right? You’re, it’s, it’s, we, we think it’s done well for us until we realize, wow, it, it doesn’t work in really important situations, right? So I,
I think the idea that’s giving us me comfort, the more I realize that it’s a true principle, and it’s all throughout the scriptures, and you’ve taught this before,
is that the Lord just needs a few. He just needs his elect. It’s like the parable of the talents, right? We just need to magnify what we have,
and look at the loaves and the fishes, right? It doesn’t look like it’s going to be enough. It’s not going to be able to feed it. We’re not going to be able to free everyone. We don’t have enough to go around. But the Savior and the Lord through His power and His miracles will make our offering enough.
And we have to rely on that. We can’t keep expecting and get defeated when we’re not recruiting our family, all our family, right? When maybe only one family member will even talk to us.
I mean, that’s where I’m at. I’m just grateful when I have, you know, 5 % of my huge family that talks to me about anything. So the hopes and expectations have dwindled down,
but you can’t lose despair and you can’t lose hope because then it’s about purity and quality. And that’s what the Lord needs. I think the problem with the church before is there are too many people.
people. There are way too many lukewarm people and it diluted the integrity and the sincerity of their works and their offerings. And so I focus on that,
on being sincere and be willing to offer all that I have and know that it will be used and joining with others who feel the same way.
I think it’s really important now. that we look for other people and try to join and gather with people that are genuinely sincere, that don’t need to be forced and beat over the head with this.
And that are looking for the kingdom of God and the morality. Like there’s people that want to be moral. And I see it outside of the church too and other religions,
it’s fairly heartwarming. I don’t remember. if it was Bobby you’re saying that as well. I see other people, they are maybe more so than the church, more aware of the conspiracy and the propaganda and Hollywood and all the Satanism everywhere.
And so I can see a change coming, but I think there needs to be leaders that are willing to stick their neck out and be the vanguard for righteousness and liberty.
And I know that I’m surrounded with people in this group that have that kind of lion heart that wanna be able to do that. So that gives me comfort, right?
That I’m not alone and that when the time comes, we will be able to move forward and really take actions that matter. And there might just be a few,
might just be 300. to start. And the Lord can do a lot with that number there. – Might not even be 300, but yeah, thank you.

We pray that in the coming days, especially as we’re facing conventions in our state, we pray that honesty will prevail and that we’ll be aware of things that it can be done to insist on honesty.
We ask you to watch over us and help us to be alert to things and to so live our lives that the the Spirit can testify to us and we can react appropriately.
