I’m gonna put that down before I forget who it is. Okay, all right, Trial Liberty Society meeting for Monday,
September 2nd. Opening prayer was offered by Pam Clinch, then reminded us about the September 27th, the Oram Serra Theater.
It’s a free event hosted by the John Birch Society, and also about September 18th Book Club. Samantha gave the spiritual thought, focusing our energies on building the kingdom of God.
God made laws. Moses got laws directly from God, both ecclesiastical and civil laws. It’s 6 ,000 years of failure.
Now the Lord will do the work under the priesthood and government of God. No good efforts are put into a dead system.
Ben said we are helping the stone to roll, or are we helping the stone to roll, or helping the Babylon systems? We need to choose the correct principles always.
This is, let’s see, last week was the middle of the presentation. Angel warned.
Ben talked about Herod and the wise men. After they found a child, they were warned by the angel not to return to Herod. So Ben launched on the principle of why disobeyed the king.
And Samantha commented it was a model and an example. And Bobby Sagitt Bobby said the internal perspective,
this is, some think this life is hard, but in the internal perspective, this is nothing. Ben commented about layman and level you,
how they left their father, but they murmured the whole time. The apostles gloried in the beatings, but they did not murmur. LNC said this is an example why we’re particularly rise rise conclud rise Brock birth birthc her andftingέ rise birthort� and inception risecco它 rise rise proteg,

that is an idol. We commit three felonies a day, true felonies. And Ben said, if we break the law, anyway, do it on purpose. And right now the window is open.
This meaning was being recorded and put on the internet, Ben gave an example that it’s illegal in this state to have a child without a birth certificate.
And Ben said, we need to do it knowing the consequences. Direction. I said that I did it. So that’s what like talking about the window being open, people could turn me in.
I was the one doing it. Whatever anybody else does, that’s up to you guys. I was just giving an example of how, what, the three felonies that everybody commits a day, I was giving examples of felonies that I commit.
And that was one of them. Okay, I thank you for correcting that for me. Yes, okay, so that was an example of going against the law.
And Ben was privy to that because he did it. He said that all constitutions after the war between the states are unconstitutional.
Does violating the law to disobey my conscience? I’m putting God first. And government then said that the government is not his idol.

thoughts anybody have any questions on the book or on the book club okay no questions um with that i did not assign a uh a spiritual thought in time tonight and so um we don’t have one unless somebody wants to unless somebody has something on top of their mind they want to share real quick i do awesome two weeks in a row you’re a champion this was yeah uh that was my goal trying to be the champion um no i had
this actually in mind when you were talking a couple weeks ago i was like oh that reminds me of something but then i switched to the other one so this is my runner up um this thought let me grab it um i’m actually stealing it quote because it’s in your boot camp,
but this is the quote. We should not only study good and its effects upon our race, but also evil and its consequences. So I think most people have heard that,
right? That’s the part. And I’ll be covering it tonight, so that’s good. Yeah. So the rest of it goes like this. Brigham Young says,
if I do not learn what is in the world. mean to learn all that is in heaven,
earth and hell. Do I need to commit iniquity to do it? No. If I were to go into the bowels of hell to find out what is there, that does not make it necessary that I should commit one evil or blaspheme in any way the name of my maker.
Do you not suppose the Lord is there and knows all about it? I am satisfied of it. So that’s in the journal of discourses the second volume. So I liked about that.
here I was studying this stuff to understand it because we’re supposed to shine a light on it and expose it. So I was comforted by this quotation by Brigham Young and as well the knowledge of well,
if Heavenly Father knows everything, the good, bad and the ugly and the Savior atoned for every evil done, that means they’re aware of it.
But we’re not committing me. But Heavenly Father knows about that stuff.
Our Savior knows about that stuff. And if we do it with the spirit of righteousness and a desire to use it to stop it and expose it,
how else are you going to be able to do that, right? If you don’t, aren’t able to even comprehend it. So I have, I wanted to read,
Does that make sense? Am I making sense? So here’s, this was part of the post. And I thought it was pretty concise and good.
So I’ll just read this and be then. So it says, good people do not become bad by learning about evil. You must sympathize or practice evil to fall prey to it.
Learning about evil empowers you. To overcome evil and those conspirators that employ Satan’s tactics, we must understand the enemy, as God does. If we study the secret combinations found in history and learn from them,
we are better equipped to overcome Satan’s influences here and now. Enemies delight in our ignorance of their past successes, movements, and current plans.
How can you stop an enemy you cannot see or understand. So that’s that’s a thought that I wanted to share. Thank you so much. That’s it’s like you knew what I was going to cover tonight.
That’s I didn’t. Anybody else have any thoughts comments on that? Okay.
Well, thank you. That was perfect. Appreciate you stepping up like that. Okay. Well, then let’s go ahead and get into. Instead of tag me,
it’d be better to tag the Tree of Liberty Society. You can tag me, though, but Tree of Liberty’s Side be the best thing to tag. And to share that, because it helps more people understand, you know, get a little bit of a different perspective of why that’s a good book.
You know, they know you. And they’re like, okay, you liked it. And that’s why you liked it. You know, it’s going to help them become informed. And it’s going to give an increased chance of more people picking up one of these items.
and in that somebody said n somebody with the letter n for their name they left a made a really good comment that i thought would be a perfect review too so if everybody could go read that example it was really good yeah i’ll actually bring that up and share it with us oh good yeah wording was great let’s see here So he says,
I’m a huge proponent of ridicule. People want to get madded and yell and threaten tyrants. There’s a place for that in some situations, but ridicule is more effective and doesn’t make the sender seem off.
It also gets right at their soft underbelly of needing to protect legitimacy to the point Ben has been talking about legitimate, making about legitimacy lately. This book is ridicule with a razor’s tip cover to cover absolutely so any questions thoughts on that okay then let’s go ahead and get going just encourage everyone to kind of get out of your comfort zone and and take things up a notch to to help spread the word
get more get everything there we go okay so the title of course is staying positive while studying combating evil this is something that comes up regularly i samantha mentioned it perfectly in the spiritual thought where people think that you know talking about evil empowers it or it’ll it’ll make them you know have a negative attitude they’re afraid of it making themselves themselves dark.
And so I wanted to really talk about that. Why, you know, how do we stay positive while talking about evil and studying evil and combating evil?
How do we stay positive while having, you know, a part of our focus on, on the evil that’s happening? And so it, the first thing,
you know, is, is you know why do we talk about evil is kind of the the the underlying principle behind it is understanding the why and that will help us to understand the how to become positive and so when people say you know to me the first thing is you know when they say why do you talk about evil the first thing that comes to my mind is because God said so.
Beyond, you know, that there’s a commandment in the scriptures, what else do we need to understand that? But I understand that a lot of people, of course, it’s helpful to have a broader perspective on why we do it,
which will help us then be positive as we are having a focus on the evil that’s going on. And so to be positive while we’re focusing on evil,
thought it is a natural recourse it’s a natural reaction to what you’re doing you will be positive because you’re exposing evil and that sounds counterintuitive but i think i hope is that as we go through these things that’s that’ll make sense because i really believe that exposing evil should make us more positive,
should not bring us darkness. And so, and those icky feelings. And so I think the why is important. So we ask the question is, are, are you getting this information?
Are you an information junkie looking for your next fix? Okay. Is that just what it is? I’m just looking for what’s the next dirty thing I can learn about, the conspiracy involved in.
right is i’m i’m just looking to see what the next you know oh i’ve already heard about that i don’t care about that anymore because i already heard it i want to know what’s new what’s the latest and greatest thing going on with the evil going on in the world okay is that is that our motivation behind it or is our motivation to be part of a is it part of a plan to do something Are we getting the information
just to get the information, or are we getting the information as a part of a strategy? Like you do in war, you have to know what your enemy is doing to be effective. Nobody would say to General Washington,
don’t study the British plans to invade the colonies. That’s negative. That’ll give you an icky feeling. No, it’s ridiculous. They would say, oh, yeah, of course you’re looking to bad what the other side is doing so that you know how to combat them and so that really you know that’s that’s one of the underlying things is is it’s part of an action plan not just oh look at me i know stuff i’m in this concentration
camp and i’m the most informed person here hopefully that just right there those those contrasting reasons behind um studying evil,
you can see the difference right off the bat between those two different attitudes. Any thoughts? Any comments before we move on? When I was in a Navy,
we were always taught to think like our enemy. If you know what they historically have done, then you know how to head them off and to prevent them from doing more or even hurting your mission.
And the whole idea with your enemy is to keep them guessing about what you’re doing. Never do the same thing twice. And that’s the lesson that we need to learn even with this, is that don’t repeat ourselves all the time because they’ll know what we’re going to do.
We need to keep them as much off guard as possible. Well, they don’t realize that we’re watching everything they’re doing and preparing to stop them wherever they turn.
Yep. Absolutely. Thank you. when they’re lying to us,
you know, and then I think later comes, then what do we do? What are actions we can take? But I think in the beginning, it’s just learning and understanding and knowing when they’re lying to us.
And we can just say, that’s not true. And then to tell other people, that’s not true. And here’s why. Yep. Yeah, well, that’s important part of the foundation of the future action plan is to know how not to be fooled and stay away from those avoidance is as much of an action plan as engagement and also as Becky always says to look for the patterns and wickedness has a pattern there is an evil design is a pattern
just like righteous designs follow a certain pattern and principles and when you can see the pattern it’s easier to pick up is the underlying thing of the reasons behind it.
If you’re not just an info junkie, it’s taking action. And as was quoted earlier, we have to study the good. So I want us to expand upon that. Why does studying good,
going with the full quote that Becky shared earlier, why does studying good and evil help us? How does it help us? Samantha. What did I say?
Becky. I’m sorry. Yes, Samantha. I was thinking Samantha while I said that. So, yes, so Samantha gave that code the full code order. So how does studying good and evil help us?
Well, we’re told that we should be wise. And to get dumb you either have to do evil or study evil so we’ll be that said and then as as was mentioned earlier uh if we if we do the evil then we become the evil so we just want to study it we don’t want to do it so we just think of the fact right you have ted bundy here if you don’t know who he is he was a mass murderer he would pick up uh go on dates with
girls and rape and kill them And so this was during, I think it was the 70s and 80s. So can you just imagine somebody, right, just saying if you focus on the positive, if you ignore the reality of what’s going on,
you just want to focus on the positive, you’re dead. You’re just like, hey, you know, well, he’s a really good guy. He’s really nice and charismatic and he compliments people. And right,
if you’re just focusing on the positive, you’re a dead person because you’re not recognizing that evil wants to destroy you. And so we have to recognize. And so with that strategy,
again, it is so that evil may be done away. That’s the strategy. You study the evil that evil may be done away with. The time may come that Satan may have no power upon the hearts of the children of men.
So it’s a means to an end. It’s a process to get something done. It is not just there to gather like it’s a collectible you’re just going to put it there on the shelf and you’re like look at that i’ve got that i’ve got that uh that collector’s plate hanging on the wall uh of of the of the conspiracy and i’ve got all these books behind me to say that i know something it’s a means to an end to do away with evil
and to make sure that satan doesn’t have any power over us anymore does anybody have any thoughts or or comments on that yeah i had a i had a comment on that i don’t know if you’re going to get into this but um we all look forward to the day during the millennium when when satan is bound right and i remember being younger like you know i picture him actually like bound up like in ropes you know because you’re a
kid you don’t know what that you know it’s hard to imagine but as you get an adult it’s even harder to imagine like how does that work right satan’s so powerful and he’s all over the place and this is how it’s done like this is family,
you do it as a community, you do that as a Zion people and a kingdom of God. So I never connected that until you started teaching about, you know,
why we study this and the conspiracy and how this is how we bind Satan during the millennium. Like so, so important. We can’t just hunker down in a cave somewhere and hope the Lord saves us in our sins.
We have to do this to warrant the protection and the blessings, we have to be brave and step up. Absolutely.

I’m eating too, but we i don’t know if the group knows but i i have a family phone call that started out with three of us and and now we’re up to 12 and one of the reasons i get on this call is so i know how to handle all these things so thank you for all of your help and your input but one thing that has been you know because because I’m trying to teach the Constitution.
And of course, we’ve been out of a year and a half and we’re just to halfway through. Wow. Some depth, yeah. Yeah, we have a lot of discussion. But a lot,
and we have all levels of understanding. We have a couple of the people on the call who are really knowledgeable and awake. And we’ve got some who have just come on,
just had two, I’m just trying to find truth.
The truth will stand on its own, but it’s confusing to me to know what the truth is a lot. But everybody on the call says we’ll agree that they want to find truth,
even though they don’t like it a lot of times when they hear it. And we try to be patient and let everybody take their time to learn. But for me, that’s been our best thing is just to say what’s the truth whether we like it or whether we don’t what’s the real truth well and i think it’s important to extend that is the truth with a with a purpose not truth for truth’s sake truth has to be leading to something an
action right what the truth of baptism right if you learn the truth of baptism but you don’t get baptized what did that truth do you? What good did it do you? Oh, good point.
Okay. Yes. That’s a really good addition. Yes. Thank you. Yeah. And so that’s what we want to do is, and there’s a saying that I like a lot, is that education without action leads to frustration.
And then, of course, action without education leads to fanaticism. So you have to merge those two together. Otherwise, you’re just, you know, you’re just, If you’re just learning truth, if you’re just,
because again, you just, you’re an information junkie, like I mentioned at the very beginning, it’s never enough and it will never satisfy. And you just are going to be looking for your next hit and you’re going to ignore previous truths that you learn because,
oh, that’s old. I already knew that. It doesn’t matter anymore. I need the next one. And so it’s, you know, We need to, we need to not do that because that I’m going to get into a little bit later is what that leads to.
If we just focus on truth alone, that is going to, that leads us to those, why people. And nobody, of course, is going to say, no, I’m against truth. And so I think that is a good,
good starting tactic to use with people when they say icky, but you yourself, me, the royal you, any individual that is just reading for truth’s sake and just leaves it at that of gathering information,
they’re going to start feeling dark. They’re going to start feeling icky. And so it’s important that it’s beyond just the truth gathering, that there’s a strategy behind it, that of doing away with evil,
that of making sure that Satan doesn’t have any power over us anymore. And so it’s got to have an end goal to it. All right.
Okay. So we need to, number two, why you study evil is you have to have a serving mindset to avoid the, the dark,
icky feelings and that idea of just kind of being a dark, going and doing a dark place is when we’re studying this information, if we’re having a mindset of service, it will go a to bow down with grief,
sorrow, and care under the most damning hand of murder, tyranny, and oppression supported and urged on and upheld by the influence of that spirit which has so strongly riveted the creeds of the fathers who have inherited lies upon the hearts of the children of men and filled the world with confusion.
This was mentioned earlier tonight. This conspiracy has filled the world with confusion. We don’t know where to find truth. And it has been growing, And also it is an imperative duty that we owe to all the rising generation and to all the pure and heart.
For there are many yet on the earth among all sex, parties, and denominations who are blinded by the subtle craftiness of men, whereby they lie in wait to deceive,
and who are only kept from the truth because they know not where to find it. Therefore, that we should waste and wear out our lives in bringing to light all the hidden things of darkness wherein we know them,
and they are truly manifest from heaven. These should then be attended to with great earnestness. Let no man count them as small things, for there is much which lieth in futurity pertaining to the saints,
which depends upon these things. And so this is, it’s a duty that we have. And if we have a mindset of service that we are doing our duty to help people that don’t know the truth,
that would love the truth if they just knew where to find it. We have all these people out there in darkness that are being oppressed because of this conspiracy that just don’t know what to do and don’t know where to go and are confused because of that.
But if we have a mindset of service and duty to do this work, that will lead us to a positive place because we’re we are, when you’re service minded,
you cannot be darkened. You cannot be, you cannot have an icky feeling in a in an attitude of service. you’re not going to fall for that that And so if you have that love for other people,
you cannot feel dark and icky by studying these things. You will have the love and light of Christ because you are doing something for other people.
So number three is, you know, we do it because we want to be a good and faithful servant. This goes back to our,
the first thing was. In ether,
we go back to verses 22 and 23, Marini says, And whatsoever nations shall uphold such cedar combinations to get power and gain until they spread over the nation.
Behold, they shall be destroyed. For the Lord will not suffer, meaning allow, Lord will not allow that the blood of his saints, which shall be shed by the conspiracy, shall always cry unto him from the ground for vengeance upon them,
and yet he abends them not, that thereby ye may repent of your sins and suffer not, that these murderous combinations shall get above you, which are built up to get power and gain,
and the work, yeah, even the work of destruction come upon you, yet even the sword of the justice of the eternal God shall fall upon you to your overthrow and destruction if you shall suffer these things to be.
So we have a commandment to warn others. we have a commandment to not allow it to be above us, to continue to be above us.
So how do you fulfill something? How do you stop something from happening? How do you stop an enemy if you don’t understand that enemy? And so because of our stewardship,
right, we have a stewardship to not allow the conspiracy to continue to be above us. How do we improve on our stewardship? by becoming more informed on that principle.
so it’s it’s a process of learning to be a good steward if we’re trying to serve god we’re learning we’re educating ourselves we’re building upon knowledge we’re learning truth to strengthen our steward to fulfill the commandment that god has given us there is no way on earth that you’re going to feel dark there’s no way on earth that you’re going to feel icky you’re going to say you those people are bad you’re going
to be like oh that’s horrible But when we read about the evil in the scriptures, does that make us, oh, I can’t read ether. I can’t read Alma because it’s dark because of the bloody things that these conspiracies,
that these bad guys are doing. No. That’s silly. It is because we are, we are filled with the spirit because we are studying and we’re doing the things that God has commanded us to do.

Ben. Yeah, good. You mentioned here stuff that I’ve been doing all in my life. It’s interesting that you’re bringing this out today because of something of a conversation I got into yesterday. Someone who wouldn’t listen,
no matter how much evidence I presented, they just wouldn’t listen. But everything that you’ve mentioned tonight is stuff that I was raised as a child to do, and now it’s coming full circle. And so I’m glad that tonight you’re bringing this out,
because it’s so important for us to grab a hold of these principles and apply them more effectively in our lives than what we’ve ever done, especially in lieu of the things that are coming out.
I have a feeling next year it’s going to be a year, none of us will forget. But, uh… good steward that’s that’s that’s what you do so going back to right if our focus is on the latest and greatest doom and gloom you’re going to lose discernment and you’re going to believe fake conspiracies that will cause you to lose credibility with others you’re also going to be filled with pride because you know more than
everybody else and you’re going to be slothful thinking that nothing can be done if your focus is just on how bad things are and how bad things are going to get. You’re just,
your focus is on, right, is just saying, oh, that’s just, there’s nothing going to be done. It’s just getting worse and worse. But you’re also going to not love other people because you’re smarter than them and you’re just looking at them as being stupid.
And so you’re not going to want to serve them. And because of that, that pride, you’re going to lose discernment. And then every, every latest and greatest doom and gloom, you’re going to believe. you’re like, oh, yeah,
we’re going to be in. And so it’s important that we don’t have this as a,
you know, just the gathering of truth as the end goal. Gathering truth is a tool for service. It’s a tool for building stewardship.
It’s a tool for loving your neighbor. It’s a tool for building an action plan. And you’re going to take the spirit of darkness that other people are going to want to avoid because you’re just talking about just you’re just talking about darkness with none of those other aspects to it and they’re not going to want to be around that but if our focus is on action love and stewardship you’re not going to get bogged down
in negativity and pessimism because you’re involved in something that is doing something uh you’re going to be more dedicated to doing what’s right because you’re because you have that you’re like i love someone i love other people.
I want them to understand and so that they can. helping them understand by warning your neighbor and you’re going to be an example for others that have been prepared of course to look to now some people if they haven’t been prepared that’s you know not every just because your focus is on action and loving them and stewardship doesn’t mean everybody is going to accept what you say i love the example of nephi when he’s
warning his brothers he was warning his brothers out of love and stewardship. And they did not like it. Marona, I mean, Nephi said that is because the guilty take it the truth to be hard.
And so, yes, just because you have that as your focus doesn’t mean everybody’s going to accept it. But those that are prepared are going to see you as an example of someone that is able to dig into what’s really going on and still not be negative and be bogged down by it.
And they’re going to say, well, okay, there’s something different about you. presentations on why people don’t dig into it.
They think that, you know, that focusing on it gives it power that I don’t need to know what’s in the garbage can to know that it’s garbage. And it’s, it’s all of this nonsense to get you to not be properly informed so that you can take effective action and that you can avoid the evil that’s going on.
But if we focus on it in this light, then we can make sure that we’re not bogged down, that we’re not dark, that we’re not an example of darkness. And so we’ve got a few minutes.
I’d like to get anybody’s thoughts. What has stuck out to you that maybe was there any aha moments? I know we’ve covered these principles before, but just in an aspect kind of more general of,
yes, the conspiracy exists. And this is really the first time I’ve kind of put these things in a light to help us to be an example because I want to, people do ask me a lot of, you know, why do we talk about this if it’s,
I want to avoid doom and gloom. I want to avoid icky darkness. translating the records they were told not to discuss the secret combinations or the oaths or whatever and then later in ether then he brings it up now i think god’s the same yesterday the day and forever so there must be a way to present it or a way to talk about it that’s right and not to bring up to other people because it might turn out to be
wrong. Are you familiar with the scriptures I’m talking about? Yeah, absolutely. So I think in context,
right, those scriptures are talking, the ones that talk about it is like they’re getting into the details. They’re not publishing the oaths they’re not publishing you know the word for word deed right we’re not going through and we’re not watching someone it’s like it’s the it’s the study versus the you know doing but we’re not we’re not we don’t have to go through and watch hours and hours of kitty porn to know that
kitty porn is evil and that anybody involved in it’s evil but you do have to know that that exists to be able to protect people people from that. Does that distinction make a different?
I mean, make sense? Yeah, makes little sense, but I know how depressed I got with book two on invasion. All of the evil stuff was tied in with sex.
LGB, whatever, Alphabet soup stuff. Every one of it had to do with sex. Yep. And after the Glen Pace mammal and it just seemed like,
leaving in, you know, national police and in police departments when up, when the local police departments didn’t even exist in America until the 1840s.
And so we’re, we, this immorality of saying someone else is going to do this for me. Whereas when we say, okay, I have a responsibility myself to take action,
then they’re like, okay, I’m now empowered because now I don’t have to wait for evil to do the right thing i can do the right rise we’re fighting and we have to identify the players and so you have to know who the enemy is you have to know what the what the workers of darkness are doing how can you defeat them if you don’t know who they are and if you don’t know what they are and you’ve given dozens of examples
of the years of who these people are and names and names you know no one else is willing to do that You know, we know who Mitt Romney is.
We know who some of these other players are because you’ve given the name and the evidence to support it. That is identifying the enemy, and that’s how you win the fight against him.
