Zion must be built, but who will build it? Shall we sit back and wait for God to do it for us, or does He expect us to take action first? This is an excerpt from the Extremists Liberty Bootcamp. No one’s gonna do this for us.
This isn’t something we’re just waiting for that stone to roll down and smack us in the face Saying here’s the kingdom John Taylor says if Zion is never built up the Lord will never come.
He must have a people and a place to come to?
Are you a part of that people?
Are you becoming that person that the Lord can come to?
Are you living in a place?
Are you building a place that the Lord can come to?
Are you taking it through your actions?
No one’s going to do this for us.
As Brigham Young says, “The man who does not labor from day to day and from hour to hour for building up this kingdom and bringing forth the fullness of the kingdom of God on the earth and the establishment of Zion will sooner or later fall.
There is no neutral ground.
We have to take sides.
God’s side or man’s.
No one’s going to do this for us.
We’ve been commanded to awaken to a sense of our opposite situation about the kingdoms of the world that have attacked our efforts that you can read about in invasions volume 1 and 2.
I encourage you to get to go into more detail on these things, we have to.
That evil may be done away with, and that Satan may have no more power upon the hearts of the children of man.
By destroying the serial combinations, by building Zion, by building the kingdom of God, this is going to happen.
The apostle James told us that we are not to be hearers only.
We’re not to say, “Oh man, Ben, you have brought out some great things, isn’t that great?
Let me go back to Doing what I’m doing.
We have to be doers of the word, otherwise we are deceiving ourselves.
Again, bring out this this key point.
The Lord’s going to fight our battles for as people say.
Well, Brigham Young explained that there are some conditions upon that.
We all believe the Lord will fight our battles, but how?
Will he do it while we are unconcerned and make no effort, whatever for our own safety when an enemy is upon us?
If we make no efforts to guard our towns, our houses, our cities, our wives and children, will the Lord guard them for us?
He will not.
But if we pursue the opposite course and arrive to help him to accomplish his designs, then he will fight our battles.
If this, then that.
Very clear.
If anyone’s going to come help though, right? It’s after we’ve done everything we can.
Of course, the Lord will fill in the gaps for us.
He will fight our battles for it once we’ve done all that we can.
