Every Monday evening, members of the Tree of Liberty Society convene online for live training sessions and question-and-answer segments.
These training sessions are subsequently accessible exclusively to members for a duration of thirty days in our members’ area, after which they are offered to the public at no cost. All we require is your email address and consent to send you notifications regarding events, alerts, and updates.
Transcript of training:
Well, thankfully tonight, you know,
it’s always nice to be able to hand it off to some other experts. So we’re going to actually have somebody else on to come and talk to us about the topic tonight. But before we do that, I just wanted to bring up a few things.
So this Friday, again, at seven o ‘clock in Mountain Time, we will be having class two on the bootcamp. The link is on the website,
as well as you should have gotten an email with the link. But either way, if you go to the website, you click on class, and the Zoom link is there. Please share that around. Make sure to invite your friends to come chime in,
and they can make sure they can add their comments and questions. Hopefully, as we continue to do that, we’ll be able to grow, and people will be able to have a good time and be able to kind of have some good back and forth.
And again, this is class number two. We’ll be talking about independence, the Declaration of Independence, and its relevance to today. And so if you’ve been to the class before already,
it’s good to kind of get the refresher. But it’s also, if you’ve never been, right, if you’re outside of the Wasatch Front, this is a good opportunity to be able to have the classes. So we’ve had,
most of them were on the member portal. So the data is the same, but it’ll be, you know, it’s more interactive. It’s not just, it’s more interactive because of the comments and that kind of stuff.
I’m just standing in front of the camera. And so it’ll be good to come on. And so I encourage you to make sure and share the link around and invite your friends to it and have all of us.
I hope all of our members are able to join us on Friday night at seven o ‘clock as well. And I encourage you, again, to continue to spread the word about volume two. We’re still growing and getting the momentum.
Maybe it’s been too long since volume one came out and maybe lost in momentum, but we’re still continuing to get that momentum. And we’re at about the first hundred books sold. sold. So that’s not the worst thing in the world without being on Fox News and getting all kinds of free promos that a lot of of the conspiracy books get,
but and then if you’d like to help us to be able to advertise and get the word out to more people, I’d be really appreciated to get in additional donations to help get on radio and billboards and that kind of stuff.
So anything anybody can do to help out with that would be very much greatly appreciated. And then also starting next month the book club will be starting a new book and it’s going to be on the memoirs of Jacobinism.
So this is along the lines of an original source book on the Illuminati and one of its offshoots of the Jacobin Club. This is going to be really interesting because of its age and it’s going back to the source material and it’s also one of the things that George Washington was you know was speaking out about.
He knew about the Illuminati and wrote letters to people explaining the truthfulness of the Illuminati, but the main thing that that he talked about the most was the branch of Jacobinism and so I felt that that would be a really good book to get into.
A lot of folks have read proofs of the conspiracy. It’s more well known than the memoirs of Jacobinism and so I’ll be sending out a link so people can find a copy. Either they can get the PDF,
they can get that for free or a link to be able to purchase a copy and so encourage you to get that as soon as you can and start reading and we can have a good discussion about it at the book club.
So that’ll be the first Wednesday in November. So that’ll be next week actually I think is where this so it’ll be November 1st I think.
So any questions on any of those things so far? Just one thing, Ben, on your notes that you sent out. You didn’t have the ID number on it.
Because I’m my laptop, and I don’t know how many people use their laptop, but the meeting ID number wasn’t on there. I had it saved. What’s that?
I wasn’t sure if it required it. So I will make sure and add that. Thank you for letting me know. Yeah, it’s just when I use my laptop, they ask for it. So. Gotcha. So just want that’s it.
I’ll be there. Awesome. Appreciate that. I will update that and get that to you. Any other questions, comments? Well,
Becky was so kind to be volunteered to give a presentation tonight. And so Becky Connolly. I’m going to turn the time over to you to be talking about this is it’s very timely subject.
I like it because it’s hopefully going to offend us, which is great because, you know, it takes us. Sometimes it takes us getting offended to, to kind of learn new things and be able to open our eyes and maybe even change some things that we’re doing.
It’s always, you know, it’s nice to not just be the same things that not make that same kind of to do repeats, but it’s, you know, to to stretch and to grow. You know, you’re new topic.
So Becky, I will turn the time over to you. Alrighty, well, I’ll tell you one thing that was really wrong on expert that no,
that’s not quite right. If this is a passionate topic for me, I will say that. Okay, so I need to screen share,
right? Let’s see if I remember how to do this. The bottom of the screen. Yep. Did you click on the sound box?
That worked. Becky? Yes, I did. Did that work? It worked. Yep. Can you hear me? Remember the bottom? Yep. So,
there we go. Is it showing? Because it’s not showing. Switched. Oh, there we go. Okay. Okay.
So, before we start tonight’s training, I’m going to kind of give a disclaimer or a fair warning, if you want to call it that,
that I’m probably going to offend some people. Step on some toes. Because we’re going to, I’m going to kill a sacred cow tonight,
that a lot of Christian people hold really tight to. And also a little bit of viewer discretion advised. Because if you have little kids,
I don’t know that you might not want them to hear some of the things that we’re going to be talking about tonight. So, with that, we’ll get started.
I’m going to play a little video here at the beginning. It’s going to kind of give us a little synopsis of what we’re going to be talking about tonight. And why isn’t my arrows working?
Maybe I’m just going to have to do that. Should believers celebrate this holiday? Should we have an alternative to this holiday?
Its actual meaning means holy evening. Would you consider Halloween holy? If an apple tree has apple roots, if you glue oranges to it,
it doesn’t change the roots. It does not make it an orange tree. You cannot take a pagan festival and glue crosses to the branches and make it Christian.
And I submit to you that Christians celebrating Halloween for the past 50 plus years have not produced a holy people. It has produced a watered down compromising church that does not know the word of God,
has fallen from its roots and doesn’t even know the tree is hanging from it anymore. Okay, so let’s talk about some facts about Halloween.
It is the second most popular holiday next to Christmas. Halloween is starting to come earlier and earlier in the stores.
It’s August. Sometimes you even see some things about the end of July. $15 billion is spent on Halloween each year and 400 million of that is on pet costumes alone.
So, you know, we can’t leave Fido out of the fun. He’s got to get his candy too. And it’s a scary fact that more and more Christians are engaging in Halloween and are being encouraged by religious leaders to do so.
As we can see here in the picture, this is Eldorook Dorf and his wife participating in it. So every culture celebrates it in some fashion, the Mexican day of the dead.
It was celebrated clear back in ancient Aztec times. And even today, you’ll find it in Brazil, China, Japan, Guatemala, Vietnam,
Nepal, the Philippines, and more all have a form of the day of the dead. And it goes way back to ancient Babel with Nimrod,
who was the great grandson of Noah. So there has always been an agenda to blur the lines between good and evil,
to initiate the world into the occult and accept the things of Lucifer. And I think we all know this that it started clear back in the Garden of Eden with Satan,
tempting Eve. So a lot of Christians make excuses of why it’s okay to celebrate this satanic holiday.
And some of those excuses are, we only go to the church and do the trunk or treat parties. It’s just about kids having fun dressing up,
walking around the neighborhood, and getting candy. It’s not a big deal. A lot of people say we’ll just keep it cute and fun. No gory or scary stuff.
And then one from one of our family members is, it’s a family tradition and we make it good. We make good memories with our family. So this is why they say it’s okay to celebrate it.
So is Halloween evil? So Kate Dally in a post last year on her Facebook stated that she did a show on the increasing popularity of witchcraft and the dangers in this.
She talked about Halloween too. It’s getting more celebratory and more gruesome. She said, “I played audios from an ex -witch who were warning about the increasing number of celebrities coming out as witches too,
like Pumbrady’s wife and Vanessa Hutchins. One warning came from an ex -witch who said that there are so many sacrifices and so much abuse on this day.
She was scared to see so many Christians really getting into this and not seeing what they are doing. Animal sacrifices, baby sacrifices and beatings. We all have known this was a thing for small groups of evil out there but it’s a growing but it’s growing at an ever alarming rate.
One ex -witch entertainer said, “Look at the word entertainment.” That’s not letting me go on the next. How this stuff enters our kids from at such a young age.
Halloween decorations are coming earlier and earlier and it’s not just cute decor but severed heads and gruesome death scenes. So there was a who’s Vanessa Hutchins?
Sorry. She’s an actress from Disney. So there was a there was an ex -witch that was being interviewed and she said that the witches will go down the candy aisles before Halloween and they will actually put curses on the candy as they walk down the aisles.
So it’s I think it’s something that we really need to take seriously and not just go. These people are crazy. They don’t have these actual powers and can do these things that they say they do but no it’s real.
Satan’s power is just as real as God’s power and I think we can see that it’s in full force nowadays. So what is Halloween and what is its history?
Sawan was an ancient Celtic holiday that is thousands of years old. Later it changed to all Hallows Eve then all Saints day and now now it’s Halloween the origins of Halloween the witchcraft wicca satanism and paganism teach that on the night of Halloween the devil and his spirits are unleashed they perform the most hideous spells rituals and human sacrifices on this night more children and animals go missing on this
night than any other Halloween is tied to the druids who were high -ranking priests in the ancient Celtic culture and the Catholics help to make it acceptable to Christians that in the seventh century Pope Gregory the third was attempting world domination and to help the pagans convert to Christianity he adopted their pagan traditions helping them fill a sense of belonging this pope called it all Saints day the evening
becoming known as all Hallows Eve which is Halloween so Halloween is all about and glorifies death hell bell and who’s Nimrod or the devil so if an ancient cult Celt showed up today he would fill right at home in the celebration of Halloween that is in in our society today so let’s talk about a few of the things that are done on Halloween that and their symbolism and what they truly mean so for trick -or -treat food
or treats were set out for the saw one festival to appease the wandering spirits and to keep them from playing tricks on people many feared what would happen to them if they did not do this by the Middle Ages poor children would go door to door begging for cakes in exchange for saying prayers for the dead.
The jack -o’ -lanterns. The original jack -o’ -lanterns were not pumpkins or turnips, but severed human heads. The druids reverenced the human head.
They believed it housed the soul. So carving faces and turnips became a common practice later on to appeal to the evil spirits on Sawan with pumpkins becoming more commonly used in America.
So I’m sure we’ve all either read or heard the story or seen the little cartoon that Disney has done of Ichabod, Crane, and the headless horsemen.
And so this is where this tradition comes from of the headless horsemen using a jack -o’ -lantern for his head. So I mean,
it’s clear to see the ties between all of this. So the costumes. Aren’t those cute? No, not right now.
So costumes were in the Sawan Festival. The Celts would wear animal skins and dress up like ghosts, demons, fairies,
and the like to trick the wandering spirits to believe they were one of them so that the spirits would leave them alone. The founder of the Church of Satan,
Anton Lavey, said, “When you dress up, even as an angel or a mermaid, for Halloween, you give the devil the legal rights to change your identity.
There’s a much darker reality in Halloween beyond costumes and candy.” And I was just talking with Pam today. Pam, I don’t know if you would mind unmuting and tell them what you were telling me about the—oh,
I can’t remember where he was from that you said he came over here. Is she still on? Yeah, still on. I just couldn’t find me. Yeah,
it was a guy who was—he was a jihad—no, there was two of them. One was a jihad guy that found Christ and the other was he became part of Satan’s army at eight years old.
He tells the story of becoming a warlock, literally like his name, the warlock meant a position in Satan’s group and he learned to astral project and he just told stories of how these demons literally go over neighborhoods and they can get into homes and if there are some people,
they can’t because of prayer. He talked about the power of prayer. They were trying to recruit a young girl and had her at their place and the prayers of her parents literally turned her heart around.
But he talked about this very thing that when people dress up that they give permission to give up their identity and it allows the demons—they see that and they know that and it just gives them license to take over.
It was just really scary and he said it so matter -of -factly that it’s just part of our culture that we don’t recognize these little things like this that give them the power with our permission almost because we’re not on guard and we’re not—we don’t have Christ in front of us to protect us.
So that was pretty terrible but that’s what he said. Yeah so again these we may look at these people like they’re just wacko people and these things aren’t real but they are very very real and and so who are we supposed to have our identity or our image be like?
I mean I was taught from a young age that you know I’m supposed to have the the image of Christ and we can’t have that if we’re participating in these types of things.
So Joanna Michelson she’s a former former occultist writes in her book titled like lambs to the slaughter said that Halloween is also a prime recruiting season for Satanists.
On the Church of Satan website, Satanic Cypriestist Blanche Barton praises Halloween by saying, “Halloween gives even the most mundane people the opportunity to taste wickedness for one night.
They have a chance to dance with the devil. I see Satanists all over the world meeting in small groups this night and Halloween and 500 years hence to raise a glass to the infernal host.” Anton Levé also said that he is glad that Christian parents let their children worship the devil at least one night out of the year.
So welcome to Halloween. So Halloween is not biblical. I have never been able to find anywhere in scripture where God says that this is an okay thing to participate in but I have found many that teach against it.
So let’s see what God has taught. us true chase,
benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men. If there is anything virtuous, which means, you know, clean, holy, pure, sacred, and lovely or good report,
we or praiseworthy, we seek after these things. So can you take any of those words clean, holy, pure, sacred, lovely, praiseworthy?
Do any of these things fit with anything of Halloween? We’re told that no man can serve two masters.
You cannot have one foot in heaven and one in Babylon. When we participate in these things, we are participating in a satanic festival.
We are saying it’s okay, and those who do this are hypocritical of one who says they love the Father. We can say, well,
that’s not what Halloween means to me, but we’re also told in the scriptures not to lean on our own understanding. God didn’t care too much for the golden calf that the Israelites formed and worshipped him through.
In fact, he destroyed him because of it. We cannot take evil and make it good, no matter what our intentions are.
This is what the Catholics tried to do with the pagan holidays. We can use all the justification that we want, but God is very clear about having anything to do with evil.
He tells us to abhor it, abstain from it, even the appearance of it. In these next scriptures,
I want you to pay close attention when the word “the world” is used and know that when “world” means the people, not the planet or earth,
and who do we know that told us that he’s the God of this world? That’s the people, right? right? So in Romans 12,
two, and be not conformed to this world. John 15, 18, if ye were of the world, the world would love his own.
But because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hated you. And I can testify to the truthfulness of this scripture because if you go on my Facebook page and it’s public,
you will see there’s two months out of the year that I like hit every single day, fighting against what’s going on and celebrated that month. First one’s June for Pride month.
And the second one is Halloween. And I am not very well liked. The world does not love me. James 4 /4 says,
“Know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God.
Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is an enemy of God.” So will God still consider us his if we go against his word?
Here’s some warnings from the early brethren. When we see the time that we can willingly strike hands and have full fellowship with those who despise the kingdom of God,
know ye then that the priesthood of the Son of God is out of your possession. There is nothing that would sooner weaken my hope and discourage me as to see this people people in full fellowship with the world and receive no more persecution from them because they are one with them.
In such an event, we might bid farewell to the Holy Priesthood with all its blessings, privileges and aids to exaltations, principalities and powers in the eternities of the gods.
There is nothing short of complete apostasy, a complete denial of every principle we have received, a throwing away of the Holy Priesthood that can save us from persecution.
So I think the early brethren have made it pretty clear here that when we shake hands with the world, when we participate in worldly holidays,
the foolish traditions of our fathers, that we not only bring Satan and that spirit into our lives,
but we lose the power of God and he no longer can be with us. So can we make Halloween pleasing to the Lord?
On a Christian website, they said Psalms 24 1 points out that everything belongs to the Lord. Therefore, there’s no reason to let Satan have Halloween.
It is not his day in the first place. So let’s look at what the scripture says exactly. It says the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof,
the world and they that dwell therein. So everything that God created is his. God did not create Halloween. So therefore,
it isn’t of God. So again, like they said, Satan is of God. And so, I mean, to the false equivalency there is pretty bad.
Like everything evil you would with the logic on that previous slide would say that everything bad is of God. It just it seems crazy. Right.
Right. So yeah, like that is everything the Lord’s. So for a couple of examples, is the 4th of July the Lord’s? Now, I’m not saying the 4th of July is evil,
but is it the Lord’s? Did the Lord create it? No. So, like Ben was saying, is the Satanist’s High Holy Day the Lord’s?
Is Mardi Gras the Lord’s? So just because these things exist, doesn’t mean they’re the Lord’s. Only what the Lord is created is the Lord’s.
What man has created, I don’t think the Lord wants nor needs. So we know that, you know, celebrations, festivals, holidays are a big deal in every culture.
But have you ever thought, does the Lord have a day of celebration? He does. He actually has seven of them. So let’s talk about what those are.
Because he’s not just going to leave us empty. He’s given us things to celebrate and bring joy in our life. The first one is Passover.
That’s when Christ did the Atonement. And then you have the Feast of Unliving Breds, which is when Christ was cleaning the sin, removing the sin out of his house.
You have the Feast of the First Fruits when he was resurrected. And you have the Feast of the Harvest, which was Pentecost. And even Christ himself celebrated Passover.
And they did this every year. So these first four Feasts represent the Messiah’s first coming, which happened in all in spring. And these were signs that people were supposed to be looking for,
for the Messiah to come. And look how many missed them. So the final three Feasts represents the events of the Messiah’s second coming,
which fall on the fall. in the fall. So have we missed them? Are we going to miss them like so many missed the first ones?
So the first one in the fall is the Feast of Trumpets which is Rosh Hashanah. Then you have the Day of Atonement which is Yom Kippur. And then you have the Feast of Tabernacles which is Sukkot.
And in Isaiah and the Scripture, the Bible talks about these fees all over the place. In Isaiah 56, 4 and 5 it says, “For I must say at the Lord unto the eunuchs that keep my Sabbaths and choose the things that please me and take hold of my covenant.
Even unto them will I give in minehouse and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters. I will give them an everlasting name that shall not be cut off.” Think about that last statement,
what that really means. I think that’s huge. In Leviticus 23, 34, 39 and 41 it says, “Speak unto the children of Israel saying,
the fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be a feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the Lord.” Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month,
when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, what does that remind us of? Harvest, when do we harvest foods? “Ye shall keep a feast unto the Lord seven days on the first day shall be a Sabbath and on the eighth day shall be a Sabbath.
Sabbath. And you shall keep it a feast under the Lord seven days in the year, and it shall be a statute for ever in your generations.
You shall celebrate it in the seventh month.” What is a statute? A statute is a law or a decree made by God.
So he has decreed, made it a law, that we are to celebrate this. How long? Forever. And it says in your generations.
That’s plural. So it didn’t end at any time. And we know in general, when it’s spoken of generations in scriptures, it’s actually meaning the dispensation.
So every dispensation has been commanded to celebrate, to keep these feasts in remembrance of the Lord. So did Christ’s apostle celebrate these feasts?
Paul states in Acts 1820, 21, “When they desired him to tarry longer time with them, he consented not. He bade them farewell, saying,
‘I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem.’ And he sailed from Ephesus.” So if the apostles kept these feasts after the death of Christ,
shouldn’t we, if we call ourselves disciples of Christ? Hey, Becky, I’m going to interrupt. Go ahead. Did you change the slide? Because it still has the Leviticus slide up right now.
Yeah, no. It’s supposed to stay there. Okay, sorry. No, you’re fine. So if we call ourselves disciples of Christ and his apostles celebrated these feasts,
I think that’s a clear indication that we should be doing them also. And we will be celebrating the feasts when he returns, because it tells us in Zechariah 14 verse 16,
16, “And it shall come to pass that everyone that is left “of all the nations which came against Jerusalem “shall even go up from year to year “to worship the king,
the Lord of hosts, “and to keep the feasts of tabernacles.” So he is talking about the millennium here. And in the next couple of verses after this one,
the Lord tells that if all the families of the earth do not come up for this feast, that they shall be punished and have no reign and will have plagues instead.
So can you understand why it was so important to Paul and he was so adamant about going and getting back to Jerusalem to be there for the feast? So this feast that he’s talking about is the Feast of Tabernacles,
Sukkot, which is the last feast of the Holy Feast in the fall. And it represents the marriage feast of the lamb to his bride and the gathering of his people,
a harvest, if you will. So do you think that it’s any coincidence that Halloween is near this feast?
We have to remember, Satan always has his counterfeits. He’s not gonna give the Lord his day. And where will this feast of the lamb be held when he takes his bride?
It’s gonna be in New Jerusalem, in Zion. And so what if Zion isn’t built up? I’m gonna reread the quote that I read.
I think it was last week for the spiritual thought. We all look for the appearing of the great God and our savior, Jesus Christ.
But we shall look in vain until Zion is built, for Zion is to be the dwelling place of our God when he comes. The salvation of the saints, one and all,
depends on the building of Zion. For without this, there is no salvation. For deliverance in the last days is found in Zion. Our hopes,
our expectations, our glory, and our reward all depend on our building up Zion according to the testimony of the prophets. For unless Zion is built,
our hopes perish, our expectations fell, our prospects are blasted, our salvation withers, and God will come and smite the whole earth with the curse.
Here, then, O ye saints of the last days, let every saint consider well the nature of his calling in the last days, and the great responsibility which rests upon him or her,
as one to whom God has revealed his will and make haste. Be admonished, then, O ye saints. He shall come down on Irumiah or the world in his fury and stamp them down in his wrath,
and none shall escape but the inhabitants of Zion. So can we see Satan’s plan here? Can we see how we’ve been deceived in so many ways?
God tells us that we must flee Babylon and shake off the things of the world. If we don’t do this, we are not his.
So Satan’s greatest weapon is man’s ignorance of God’s word. So if you love God,
let his word have the last say. If we are his, the house of Israel, we must keep the holy feast days, not the man -made holidays,
which are rooted in paganism. And these feast days are kind of like, like, um,
and they, they put full focus on God and Christ and so that we will recognize the signs when He comes back through these feasts.
And they’re beautiful and amazing. And they, they don’t, you can’t even compare, you know,
we all think that these holidays that we celebrate bring us joy and peace and happiness and, you know, togetherness with our families. But if,
if you’ve, if any of you have ever studied them, you know what I’m talking about. But those who haven’t, I can testify that these feasts are incredible. And the spirit that comes when you’re learning about them is unmatched.
So if we’re truly here to learn how to build Zion, so that God can come back to His people, we have to let go of the foolish traditions of our fathers.
We have to flee Babylon in these worldly things and don’t turn back. Was there anybody that has any comments,
questions? How many many did we keep? Did they all leave? Because this is a hard subject for a lot of people because,
you know, we make good memories. Family tradition. I like my candy.
I have it celebrate Christmas or many other holidays as my divorce over 20 years ago. So I’m with you on all this. And it makes my stomach, makes me sick to my stomach when I see what’s going on with advertising for all this stuff.
And it’s like, it’s not about price. It’s not about his mission. It’s not about redemption. It’s about the finances. And I’m the fairest agenda to just further from a little closer to him.
So I’m glad you brought this up. And by the way, I’m not offended. He just verified what I feel in some very profound ways. So I appreciate that.
Thank you. Thank you. I always thought I was just a party pooper. I find out I might have been inspired. Yeah,
but like I said, it’s amazing. It’s amazing the feedback that I get on Facebook from it. And even when we’ve tried to share this with our families, we have,
we’ve been attacked, ridiculed, mocked. It’s just… And I mean, this is our family who, you know, aren’t probably supposed to be like kind of more supportive and a little more tolerant of you or whatever.
Raised by the same parents. Right. Think that we’d have the same. Well, and we did Halloween when we were first married and our kids were young. We didn’t, we were taught these things. It’s not like I grew up with this,
but it’s been the last several years that, you know, I just, I get to feel something was wrong, but you just go with the crowd and you don’t want,
like that, you don’t want your kids to be left out. out and so. – Well, I want my kids to be left out. (laughing) – My boy doesn’t even know what it is.
– So Becky, what would you say to the person that would say, “Well, I celebrated Halloween growing up. I wore gory costumes, I watched horror movies and I didn’t join the church of Satan.” You know,
aren’t you blowing things out of proportion? Just play, what would you say to that argument that I’ve heard a lot? – Well, sometimes we don’t always see the consequences immediately.
You know, it may be he won’t see things until his kids hit teenagers. And I kind of feel that way about mine.
‘Cause I have kids, I have teenagers that still, they love this and they celebrate it and they know how I feel about it now. So you’re not always gonna see consequences right away.
But, you know, like in the scriptures, when it talks about the foolish traditions of our fathers and it states that, you know, that the curse is clear until the third and fourth generation.
So if you figure, you know, think back three or four generations from you, that where it started and it’s just been continued and look how,
like when my kids were little, it was not this gruesome and horrific. It was the more cutesy, the yard decorations were cutesy. And so you’re not always gonna see immediate consequences,
but they will come. And sometimes maybe not in this life, but it will in the life to come. And I think that’s more important than what could happen to you right now.
– I’ve always kind of thought of it similar to lines of government schools, right? People say, well, no, I went to government school and I didn’t, you know, end up in this, you know, know, I didn’t adopt a different faith,
you know, those types of things. And not that you know. Exactly. That’s the thing is, I think, Satan is more subtle than that. It’s not about him getting you to join and get back, you know, do an unbaptism at the gate,
right parade. It’s, it’s, you know, he makes you write a good anti -Christ or a good false Christ gets you to think you’re worshiping the true and living God when you’re actually,
you know, it’s, it’s something completely different. And so we, he makes us think that we’re not being affected because we’re still attending our meetings and we’re still, you know,
you know, we’re not sacrificing babies or killing cats, you know, that kind of stuff. And so we adopt the things of the world and we become just like, I loved a lot of the quotes you brought in there about us being in line with the world.
And so that’s how he gets to go along. It’s not always those hard, obvious things. It’s always the subtlety that is more effective. Well,
that’s the whole story of the Israelites worshiping the golden calf. They didn’t think they were doing anything wrong. They thought they were literally worshiping God with this golden calf and look what happened to them.
They weren’t worshiping the calf itself as an idol. They were, they believed that they were worshiping God through it. That golden calf represented God for them.
It wasn’t that they were worshiping some Egyptian, you know, false God. They literally thought they were being okay doing this and that they were worshiping Yahweh.
Sam, you got your hand raised? Yeah. Yeah, I was thinking about what your, your question, right? Like, well, nothing bad happened to me. And I think a big aspect to that is,
we lose the spirit of the Lord every time we do something to offend Him. And if you don’t need the spirit, that’s fine. You live your life that way.
I know I need it, I need a lot more than I have it currently. And so I think that’s something that’s hard to measure because you’re just on your own.
You don’t have the Lord’s blessing. You don’t have His help. He lets you work it out on yourself because you’ve done that. You’ve isolated yourself from Him. You’ve alienated God by participating in these things.
And that’s something that’s hard to quantify. But I think if people are being honest about it and really thinking about, you know, their life and do I feel the spirit enough?
Do I feel close to God? I think that the fair statement is saying most people would like to feel closer. And so I think this is an obvious thing that people can try to do to see if they feel closer to God and His spirit and His blessing and confidence by not partaking in this.
And I can testify that for me. I definitely felt that felt a difference in my life and in my family when we withdrew from these Babylonian holy days.
And the other thing that I was thinking is that I would say all of these pagan holidays, especially Halloween is pretty bad for it.
Thanksgiving’s up there too. The way that it is today, it’s clearly got turned the dark path. But all of them really, and Anton Levese said this,
he indicated this and one of the things I read. He’s the first church of Satan founder. The first, I guess there’s a second somewhere. Anyway,
he said that Halloween and these holidays, they promote indulgence. Like where people are just about self -graphication and revelry, and I would add like obvious rebelliousness.
So all of these things perpetuate that idea, and you think if you’re a parent, what’s the last thing you want to teach your kids is to be this indulgent and rebellious,
and that’s kind of the trend we’re seeing a lot in society with kids. Like the kids are going off the deep end as far as just doing their own thing,
because we’re all told to become our own gods constantly, right? And this holiday, like the others just perpetuate that you go send kids off on their own dressed like,
I mean, I don’t want to say hookers, but some of them are like really seductive stuff for the girls, and the guys really dark gruesome stuff and girls. I mean, what are we doing? And you want to surround yourself with that,
and then you wonder why your kids rebel against God, don’t listen to you go off in dark ways. Like you wonder what it’s, there’s so many of these things just perpetuate this rebelliousness against God and idolatry and,
and just really, really wicked principles, if you think about it, but people don’t like to think about it. Right. That reminds me of a couple of different reports that came out about suicide amongst the youth is how it’s,
why it’s going up. And they gave two different reasons they said in Utah, and one of them they said is because it’s too religious. I’m like, we’re less religious now than we’ve ever been before.
Why would it be going up now if it’s because of religion? It’s obvious because wickedness never was happiness. And the more we adopt the ways in the world, the more those things will happen. The other one was even more silly.
They said that the other study, study the University of Utah said that suicide was on the increase because of the elevation. It’s directly related to height,
away from the center of the earth. That hasn’t changed, but for some reason the suicide rate has. The oceans are rising, so we’re going down. The world,
the conspiracy is trying to say that God is leading kids to suicide, but it’s our adoption of the world. That’s leading to the adoption of the evil things, and so I think it’s really important what Samantha just said there.
I think it’s like, I have family members. Real quick before we end, so there. No, go ahead. Did you want to close up as it was going on in a minute?
I don’t know. I have family members that aren’t supportive of the morals I try to be and enforce in my family, and I don’t do that.
It’s like, okay, well, what are the things you endorse in your daily life? All the government controls, all of the permissions to live your life. It’s perhaps bad to say,
but anytime I run into somebody like that, it’s like there’s no reason to even talk to them because they’re so far off base that their fundamentals are screwed up,
that there’s nothing short of some kind of radical intervention, like a drug intervention that could possibly have any effect. It’s like, ah, you know, I just don’t like the government churches.
I guess we’ll just say it that way. When you get grabbed by it, it’s hard to see the way through. I’m really dumbfounded why our church hasn’t pushed these feasts that you brought up,
why they’ve kind of disappeared out of our culture. Or were they ever part of it? I don’t know that,
I mean, I haven’t read, Ben, have you ever come across if Joseph and Brigham ever did Joseph? I don’t think Joseph’s restored them. No, yeah, that’s,
that’s one of the things. Yeah, they weren’t officially re -restored in any way specifically, but I know Wilford Woodruff did talk a little bit about it and how it would be something that would happen and that we should get used to it.
And so it’s definitely something that they were looking forward to, but never officially established. Yeah,
I mean, Joseph wasn’t, he didn’t restore everything that needed to be restored yet. Well, that will be restored. He’s got to come back and do that. And this is one of them because he’s got to restore everything from every dispensation beforehand.
And like that scripture in Zechariah, we will be doing them and we should be studying them with, you know, what we have,
I don’t think we have all the information about them to do them absolutely correct, but there is enough information out there to know what they mean and to give us a good idea and that we should be,
you know, at least, at least showing God that we’re trying. Why is he going to give us anything that is pure and holy if we’re not trying to learn?
And so that’s what I wanted to bring up. Leviticus is a really good chapter to read where it talks a lot about these feasts. There’s a gentleman on YouTube,
his name is Jim Staley, does an excellent job. He goes deeper into the origins of Halloween if you want to learn more on that. He also teaches about the feasts.
He’s probably the best one I have found that goes into teaching the feasts. And then there’s other people that have done histories of Halloween and stuff.
And so if you are willing to seek for knowledge, God will guide you and you’ll find it. Do I need to stop share so you can take over,
Ben? Sure. Yeah, that’d be great. Be helpful. There we go. Okay. Well, thank you, Becky. That was fantastic. We can we can discuss more after we do in the official call,
but also encourage you all to come in next week. We’re going to have somebody else give a very special presentation that I’m really excited about as well. And so make sure you clear your schedule for next Monday night.
So with that, we’ll go ahead and close with a prayer. And I’ll ask Alan, would you say the closing prayer for us?
There, that are unmuted. We’ll give her a try. All right. Thank you. Our Father in heaven, we’re indeed thankful for the information we received this evening.
We pray that through the help of the Holy Ghost that we can implement those things into our lives. We’re indeed thankful for all of the knowledge that thou bestowed upon people to bring us closer to thee and to safeguard ourselves against the world,
safeguard ourselves against the influences of evil. We pray that thou always bless us with those blessings that I’ll see us for need of. And we ask these favors and blessings,
namely, my son Jesus Christ, amen.

Hey, I missed last week for this talk. Excellent!!! I was one of Jehovah’s witnesses for 15 yrs before I joined the LDS Church( duty I know we’re supposed to say the whole long name… Fire me). They had several doctrines that were spot on. One was celebrate no holidays except for once a year they did the sacrament (more their ideas were off about that) I knew the pagan origins of every holiday. All of the ones except the Jewish holidays are of pagan origins. So true!!! I’ve been a convert since 2005 and I (really against my better judgement) started like 6 yrs ago doing little fun things. After you presentation tonight I stripped the house of red ahead been etc. I felt I needed to repent to Heavenly Father for letting paganism creep back into my life. Seriously!!!
The other thing the JWs had right is that they strongly teach the there UN is our evil and really that all the govts of the world are all corrupt. As I understands that is why they won’t go to eat, the won’t take part in politics, and voting. Personally I think they are right about the second. In Nazi Germany besides the Jews they were there most persecuted group because they would not serve any leader but God.
But thanks for that excellent presentation. I think the reason Joseph and others celebrated Christmas is because the info about his pagan it was, maybe, was not available to them? Just a guess. I myself will not be participating in it anymore. I have it up once for about 20 some years. I learned as a JW to buy presents for people when I thought off them or when they were on sale. I still to this day don’t remember people’s birthdays, to, JWs dont do those either. So my friends dunt expect cars of any kind from me except at really unexpected times.
Thanks again

Sorry about all the misspellings and mistakes in the comment above. I did it on my phone and I hate that auto fill thing. I hope it is understandable?
Wow! Just listened to Part 1 on Halloween!!! I’m the one Satanic Ritual Abuse survivor on the group, at least that I know of, but this is 100 percent so true!!! The demons take any opportunity to take you over it to take your identity!!! If you don’t almost yell NO! TO SATAN HE TAKES IT AS A YES!!! Unfortunately, I was forced to meet Anton DeLavey, when I was 14 in Hollywood. These people revel in the fact that they get the ignorant people to worship Satan in so many ways!!! But between September and Jan 1st there are sacrifices, mostly human, at least once a week in the group I was with. That was in the 1950s through the 1980s. It is worse today.
I want to learn more any these good celebrations from the Bible that the Israelites celebrated. It really upsets me how our church is regarding Halloween.
