The Utah legislature recently passed a bill being touted as “protecting girls and women” through supposedly banning men from girls restrooms and bathrooms in the state. In reality the bill, and corresponding legislation, expand the idea that gender is a “social construct” and includes an individuals sex as a social construct as well and can be changed to allow men into women’s bathroom’s and changing rooms in the state.
